It has everything to be a 5 star coffee shop in every sense.
They roast great beans there! That’s awesome

As I walk in I noticed all that and got super excited and curious. So I ask…

The barista says they grow it, bring it and roast it. Super cool.

Where? Guatemala. What part? I’m not sure…(it actually says it in the bags of coffee) little details.

Like, when you order a latte and get a cappuccino.

Now, pastry was really good. I’m not sure where they get it from or if they bake it there.

New City Coffee Co. in Lake Mary is a must-visit! They have the most delicious-looking pastries. Cakes, danish, fritters, macaroons. They serve breakfast foods and of course Coffee, Tea, and Smoothies.

Coffee Flights are seasonal and can be Hot or Iced. Great concept and taste just as amazing as it looks.

The staff was very kind and friendly. We were luckily to visit while it wasn’t busy, so we had our pick of seating (we stayed to use the WiFi and get some work done). The bathroom is a single stall for both men and women but was kept clean. They had a good deal of food options as well, but we only enjoyed the coffee.

Quaint little breakfast place in downtown Lake Mary. You have to order and paid at the counter and they bring you your food and beverages to your table. OK food selection. Some pastries available. Good coffee selection. You grab your own water, and condiments from the inside. Staff was not overly friendly or welcoming. It didn't not feel like they were looking forward building a relationship with the customers. I wasn't sure how to tip ahead since I didn't know how the service was going to be.
I have been looking forward visiting this breakfast place, hoping it would become my new favorite breakfast spot, but my first visit was bland. I was a bit disappointed.

Went for breakfast, just little things could bump it up to a 5 star experience like giving out two plates when only one dish is ordered. Enough straws for our drinks, etc. Food was excellent. We loved the avocado toast and the black forest iced coffee. Inside is a little cramped but we found seating outside eventually.

Why doesn’t NewCity Coffee Co. have a higher rating? They definitely deserve it! We came in a little while ago and were so pleasantly surprised with the nice atmosphere of this coffee shop as well as the wide selection of unique coffee drinks and such! This is not your standard Starbucks coffee shop with pretty generic drinks - they have many Asian-inspired drinks and more!

We ordered two different flights - a coffee flight as well as an energy drink flight. I’m not sure if these same exacts flights are still on the menu, but they are SO GOOD and entirely worth getting! Every energy drink was homemade and had really unique flavors and every coffee was extremely good (lavender, violet, peach, and horchata). I think we have a good understanding of what NewCity Coffee Co. has to offer as we tried 8 different drinks, and each and every one of them was very good. I would be happy to get a full-sized version of every one.

I can’t wait to come back! Hopefully more unique coffee flights and energy drink flights come in the near future! What an awesome place! 😄

Nice ambiance, wait times were a little long but that’s honestly not a huge deal. Loads of places have long wait times these days. The real review is of the coffee flight. The coffee flights are seasonal flavors that can be ordered iced or hot.
While the horchata flavor wasn’t terrible, the violet, blackberry cobbler and peach sunset left so much to be desired.
I’m as adventurous as they come but some of these flavors maybe shouldn’t be introduced as coffee. Will definitely come back to try other seasonal flavors but perhaps New City should consider posting what flavors are in the current flights they serve.

Would give 3.5 stars if I could and almost a 4! We ordered the Christmas coffee flight (hot) the Jack Frost (iced) and a bacon egg and cheese croissant! Total was $40. The silver bells was our favorite coffee, as the others seemed to be missing some flavor (I think iced would’ve been better). The croissant and Jack Frost were delightful! The outside seating was lovely!

Finally made it out to this coffee gem in Lake Mary, and tried their fall coffee flight. The coffee flight was personally, PERFECT✨ it was a different experience, trying all the different coffee flavors was delicious. White pumpkin was my least favorite, not huge on spice flavored coffee. On the other hand, the food was just ok, $10 dollars for a ham egg and cheese croissant, is a bit on the pricier side. I would definitely return for the coffee, not sure if food though. Maybe just a pastry.

Hot Coffee Flight was just over luke warm, I prefer it to come out hot.
A couple next to me had the hot and the cold flight and both said the hot flight was better.
I like the rotating coffee flight so you can try different flavors. In case you wonder, you can not create your own flight or have half hot/half cold.
Nice choice of sweets and toasts.
I will be back for another seasonal flight but I'll ask for it to be extra hot.
