Terrible Service Cleanliness
We have been yearly customers of Gluntz since 2013 - but can definitely say they do not care. Cleanliness and service has consistently declined as the years go by.
This time we rented for Memorial day weekend 2021 - we arrived on Friday at 9:30 pm after a long drive - we were given garden room - we did not last in there even 10 min - there were foot marks and holes on walls - vent was circulating dust, but the most disgusting of all was the bed. The sheets were dingy and bed full of dust and dust bunnies. We called front desk and we were told by Lynn was not cleaned because of covid ( wouldn’t it be the reverse?) and we asked to speak with manager - manager said that previous guests were happy and that room was cleaned and inspected. She did not need to go to room. She also said that if we didn’t like it we could leave - at 9:45pm we left. The manager hid in her office while we checked out.
NEVER again we will return and we cancelled our 4th of July reservation. I am sure a sassy remark will be given in response to my review but the pictures speak louder than words Beware.

Great hotel!. Loved the location as it was an easy drive to Key West as well as Key Largo. Right on the beach with great little beach for sitting and chilling out. Our room was awesome with all the amenities we needed and more. Staff was very friendly and quick to get us anything we wanted. I can't recommend this place more and hope to return again soon. I have to give a shout out to Debbie who made our stay the best we've had in the Keys.

So appreciative of accomodating our late arrival and how smooth that process worked. Loved how spacious and clean our villa was and that it was right on the ocean. Love having the restaurant and bar on site too. Wish it wasn't so windy so that we could have kayaked.

Great experience at Glunz! Staff were genuinely warm and accommodating, helping us out with a booking error. Rooms are clean and spacious and the view is unimpeded and spectacular. Bar and pool are well kept and serviceable. Beach is typical for the area. Lots of dolphins! If we ever return to the Keys, we'll definitely be staying with the Glunz's again.

Well maintained hotel located right on the beach. We booked a garden suite which is located across the lot from the main building. Make sure you specify if you want a patio door, we seem to have gotten one of the only units without one. There was also very little natural light in our particular room, with only one window overlooking the construction worker’s trailer. A bit disappointing given the environment we were staying in. Neighboring restaurant/bar is currently being reconstructed which created some unpleasant but understandable noise during the daytime hours. Staff was super friendly and beach was clean with plenty of chairs. Nice 8ft pool but hot tub needs some work.

Glad place, condo was beautiful and well stocked. View of beach was great. Beach area clean and nice seating areas with umbrellas. Pool is big and located next to a nice bar that allows to to bring drinks poolside. There's area to snorkel out front of resort. Staff were friendly. Resort is located in marathon close to a publix and gas stations. It is also not far from sombrero beach a must see if staying in Marathon. Pics of sombrero beach also included in review.

Great time had by all. Historically we've stayed in the suites over at the attached Cabana Breezes property. This year however, under new ownership, those suites were being renovated during the weeks we usually spent in the keys so we needed to stay in the hotel. To our surprise the accommodations were much better than expected and the rate very comparable. The food is at least 3 times as good, as are the bar offerings. Overall, I'd give the place 5 outta five!

We drove up and down the keys and really checked the resorts. Glunz was so friendly and the staff made you feel at home. The price is good compared to much more expensive places that were "stuffy". In the Keys, I want to relax, grab a bicycle, ride a kayak, float on a raft and Glunz doesn't charge any EXTRA to do any of these things! SOOOO refreshing! A relaxed restaraunt bar/restaurant s right on property, so it was easy to jump out of the pool or ocean, grab a mai tai and take it back to the water with me! NICE! This hotel had comfy bed and pull out was nicest I've ever seen, memory foam! Kitchen had ALL the amenities, including fresh coffee and a grinder!!! Island is awesome for fishing, and snorkeling. If you want a relaxed beach vacation (yes, they have a beach! hard to find in the keys!), I'd recommend Glunz, especially if you have kids...no extra charges for stuff. We just left and we loved it here! We brought my in laws for their 60th anniversary and it was fantastic. Dawn went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She even made a gift basket for my in laws. We will come back! Highly recommended

Happy friendly staff, a great place to vacation, rooms were little suites with a cozy beach and well kept pool. Can’t wait to return for a longer stay, you can’t go wrong with a stay here!
