Glunz Ocean Beach Hotel & Resort

The staff was friendly and accommodating. When we checked in the middle aged European woman was playing really lovely classical music. The young girls who later operated the desk were playing mid 00s r&b. Normally this isn't a detail I'd notice but it completely changed the atmosphere of the check in area. I liked the calm, quiet, peaceful classical music more. My mom didn't notice either way. The room was very nice and comfortable, loved the roku TV. Some of the electrical outlets and switches in the room were really finicky, I'm assuming because of corrosion due to the environment. The floor was quite gritty in our room, leaving our feet filthy even after a shower. I ended up wearing my sandals as house shoes to keep my feet clean. It was an average experience. Neither good nor bad. If I was in the area again and the price was right I'd definitely book again.

We stayed at Glunz Ocean Beach hotel and resort. Loved how its right on the water. Unfortunately Elsa winds and rain came through while we were there and we weren't able to use the pool or hot tub. But over all its very nice and clean Hotel. Havana Jacks is right next door check it out. Food was awesome and staff was so nice. The even had a live band they are right on the water. The Hotel staff was very nice also. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This hotel is family owned and run and it shows. The hotel staff really actually care that you are enjoying your stay. The setting is perfect, as the building parallels a beautiful beach, and you can go to sleep to the sound of the waves lapping the shore. Bikes and kayaks are free to guests, and the neighborhood where the hotel is located is perfect for morning walks. The property and rooms are kept clean and the adjacent restaurant and bar offers delicious food and best atmosphere on the island. The over all feel at the Gluntz is very casual and sweet.

We stayed last June 2021 and just fell in love with the place. We are now counting down the days until June 14, 2022 for another great Florida keys Vacation. Everything you could possibly want or need is at the Glunz Ocean Beach Hotel and Resort.

The service was amazing - they were so helpful and accommodating after a terrible visit with a motel nearby them. The hotel was clean, the pool was clean, and they offer kayak and paddle boards on site. Their beach access is beautiful too.

We only stayed one night but it was absolutely amazing, the staff was amazing. All of them. Rooms were clean and comfy with an ocean view. Beautiful place . we will definitely be back. And will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family. I do have to give a huge shout out to the front desk lady cant remember her name but i remember her saying she was from Germany. She had our room ready for us with the early check in like we asked because we traveled from far away and we got there early. She gave us nothing but perfect service. Thank you all very much for giving us such a great experience.

I was employed at the For Seasons Palm Beach back in 93 thru 96. The Service was on par with the For Seasons.

Heather, the General Manger was extremely accommodating along with her staff. Service, location can not get anybetter!

Great location. Basic old Florida style hotel. We came here as it had a pool right on the beach and a tiki bar right next door. Arrived Sunday late afternoon. Had drinks and dinner at tiki bar. Nice and simple. Next morning…they closed the pool for maintenance for what was said to be at least a half a day and tiki bar closed Monday and Tuesday. The owners own the tiki bar too. Breakfast a mile away. Only place for coffee is in room. None in lobby. This is all ok for $200 a night but $500? I feel cheated.

My Dad was upset. The room from the pictures did not match the room. We just love Marathon. The resort allowed us to change hotels but kept the resort fee after they promised to return. I do not like seeing my Dad so mad on vacation.

This place was perfect! Very clean and spacious rooms, amazing staff, gorgeous views of the ocean! The beach was very well maintained. They have access to kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes. There is a fantastic restaurant next door as well.
We come to the Keys often, and Marathon/KCB is my go-to area. This was my first time staying at The Glunz, and it did not disappoint. We will be back again soon and look forward to spending it here when we do.
