Mangrove Mike's Cafe

Great food. Busy place, try to go early on the weekends. The waitress was nice but was rushing us which was a little annoying but I guess they just want to turn around those tables as much as possible.

HUGE portions! You won’t need to stop for lunch after having breakfast here! Our waitress was great, we had bottomless cups of coffee. We even left with two t-shirts!

What a great place to brunch.brekfast served all day . lunch starts at 11am. It was amazing. We waited 45 min for a table walked around in the gift ahop next atore ended up spending $100.00 super cute stuff but pricey.

Holy cow! If you have a big appetite, this place is for you! By far the BIGGEST breakfast portions ever… oh, and it’s not just big, it’s tasty!

Outstanding service and very good food @ breakfast. Get there by 8 if you have a >4 group. Bring your appetite because their portions are BIG and their prices are (tourist area) good. “2” eggs was more like 4 and the pancakes are small hubcap sized. This is one of my go-to places in Islamorada and it should be yours too.

Waited over an hour for eggs and toast. Waitress never came by during this time to offer refills or anything. Folks were seated 30 mins after us got their meals while we waited. Food was nothing great and onions tasted like they were cooked in old fish oil. I've had better experiences at a Waffle House.

We went to Mangrove Mikes for breakfast while visiting the Keys and honestly we didn’t have a good experience at all. They sat us outside in the back which if you come too this restaurant dont ever sit back there because they completely forgot we were there, for everything, to take our or and bring us our food. We even had to stand up and go inside to the cash register because they never brought us the check.

We went to the mangrove mikes on a Sunday. There was very little wait in order to get inside. The inside is super cool and welcoming but the best part is the food. Everything is super good. So delicious and fresh tasting.

In NY, we like to think we know good diner food. This food is top notch, Keys style.

The service and vibe is relaxed and super friendly. The manager at the front sat us immediately and let us pick where we wanted to sit :) In addition to an awesome waitress, the manager also checked on us a few times as well to make sure we were enjoying everything.

Their food is reasonably priced for large portions of delicious food! The apple cinnamon pancakes were SLAMMIN’. So good. Really good and well seasoned breakfast potatoes as well.

I wish they served dinner so we could go for breakfast on our way into the Keys and go back for dinner on our way back up from the Keys, lol. It’s just good, simple & straightforward food!

As good as advertised. Came in on a Sunday morning and, despite being very busy with a line out the door, we were seated in less than 10 minutes. Great service by the hardworking team, and even better food. We’ll be back every time we’re in Islamorada!
