Uppercrust catering was the highlight of my baby shower this past weekend! Not only was everything beautiful, but everything was also delicious! Everyone who attended complimented the food and asked where we got it from. 100% would cater again with Uppercrust—great food, great cost. Thank you!!

Lots of easy, free parking allows you to pop into Uppercrust and try whatever catches your eye or chat with one of the helpful staff.
We tried the daily vegetarian quiche, goat cheese and Herbes de Provence. We ate it before I remembered to take a photo😝 Creamy and worth the $. I would not mind just a hint more herbs ;)
Next up Fleur au Pistache - $5, crusty, crunchy and soft inside. Perfect with a cup of tea or coffee.
Last was (apologies, I forgot the name) a mixture of everything bagel and croissant filled with cream cheese! Too big for one sitting, even for two… try a bit…😘 share a bit!
On our way home we will stop back in and pick up a chocolate tart, a few cookies and perhaps a cup of soup (they had carrot ginger).
There are a few seats outside for a small group but for larger groups, take home ;)
Go, enjoy, again and again!

Busy busy bakery with lots of pastries 🥐 available. Coffee as well, I got the Nutella croissant, very flaky and crispy, wished it had more Nutella

I usually like this place, however was a bit disappointed with our purchase yesterday. We bought several croissants, some sweet and some not. A lime torte and an eclair. I am really fair in my reviews ...so here goes:
1. The torte was fine, but average considering the cost.
2. The chocolate eclair was edible in parts. The cremé patisserie (custard for us Americans, lol) was nice but a bit grainy and thin. The choux pastry was underdone and by the time I got home it's was a soggy mess. Didn't eat the entire bottom of the eclair.
3. The croissant au burre/ buttered croissants and the Nutella ones were all super greasy. Picture included. The layers of butter is supposed to stay in the bread, however, it leaked out making it very oily on bottom and dried/hard on top.
I have enjoyed Uppercrust in the past, but for the price, it was not worth this time around. I made this review due to the cost exceeding the quality provided that day.
Maybe they just had an off day.
On a side note the customer service was AMAZING! They were ALL fabulous and appreciated their kindness. 😁

Amazing bakery. Fresh daily. Variety of options and some really good coffee.

Always quality and tasty baked goods. Don't forget to try the savory items, like quiches, as well. The Earl Grey scone is wonderful and the croissants are always fresh. It's great to try a variety of flavors like almond chocolate croissant.

Fantastic coffee, delicious pastries and great customer service! We came a little late in the day, but they still had a good selection of bakery items. Definitely will come again!
The only issue was I did not like the sugar cookies. I’m not sure if it’s the icing, but it tasted a little like citrus cleaner instead of a sweet cookie. But that could just be a me issue, of course. Everything else was great :)

Hands down best French bakery in Gainesville! Love the Reine de Saba cake! It's rich but the apricot preserves bring just a hint of tart that lifts the flavor. I got a small 4in one for my boyfriend's birthday and had to make a last minute call to pick it up. They were super nice and didn't say anything when I showed up with less than 10min until closing. The interior is designed like a typical french bakery and I can't wait to come back to try more pastries!
Edit: Love their french roses!!

What a gem! These crossaints are so buttery with gorgeous flaky layers, and a perfect balance of flavors (not too sweet!). The quiches are pricey but delicious and filling. Service is always friendly. Cute cards to browse in the aisle. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything you pick from here.

I've only gotten food here a few times, but that's because if I went as often as I want, any hope I have of staying fit would be gone forever. There's an excellent selection of both savory and sweet pastries, and everything I've had here has been delicious. The only downside is that it's fairly expensive, but at least the high quality justifies the high prices.
