My new favorite coffee place in Gainesville! The drinks are as bitter as other places, which I really love. Got the La Horchata which was delicious. Didn’t need to add any sugar or anything, which I usually do. Will definitely be coming back again. Also, pays to mention that the place is super cute.

I can’t wait to keep updating this review. I have been searching for a place to buy Mexican hot chocolate. I have found it. The best spicy ever.

Took me a while to get around to writing, but Opus is entirely inconsistent with what drinks they have to offer. I’ve been several times to their 4th Avenue location and been unable to get the La Horchata; which is one of the main drinks advertised on their “Adventure Series” as I think they call it. I was told it’s because of supply demands and the barista offered to make it with oat milk instead, but it really isn’t the same (obviously, otherwise it’s be called La Oat or something). I don’t understand what’s so hard about it since I can go to the grocery store and buy rice milk but somehow they’re always out when I stop by.

I'm new to the intricate world of coffee. But even as someone who just began to dial in espresso to be optimally extracted, I can tell the quality of these beans and the difference it makes in flavor.

I went to the location and it is more of a roasting office, and you typically place your order online and pick it up there (or have it shipped), but off to the side they have a coffee truck stop thing and you can buy a cup of coffee there or select from a small selection of beans. The cupping notes described on the bag are on point. Plus the prices are really good especially for the freshness and the high quality product. I don't think you can find better beans and roasters- especially if you're IN Gainesville. and if you do the price point will be higher, the beans wont be as freshly roasted, and the cupping notes may not be what is described.

Very glad I found this place, ashamed how long it took me.

I love Opus Coffee, especially from the airstream. Hannah and everyone there is always so nice and welcoming. I used to only get coffee at Starbucks, now I only get coffee at Opus. Every time I get coffee anywhere else I am disappointed because it never tastes as good as Opus coffee. The airstream is in such a great local location with outside seating and many local food options in the 4th ave food park.
