Relatively new and quickly became "the" hangout spot amongst the college, especially Asian, crowds. The bright and spacious atmosphere makes this an ideal spot to study or gather with friends to play games. The menu is Taiwanese inspired and most offer the option to customize the sweetness and amount of ice.

The last time I was here, I got a matcha milk with oreo added to it. It cost extra and I was fine with that. The drink was amazing and satisfying. But this time, I tried to order the same drink and they told me it wasn't allowed. I told them I would pay extra or even pay for a whole separate drink but they still said no. I gave up and ordered an oreo milk tea, my back up, with less ice and they basically filled it up with ice. I didn't know they'd be so mad that I asked for the same drink I got last time. I've been to kung fu tea in a lot of states, but they've all failed me now. I'll just stick with other tea houses from now on...

KFT is hands down the best place in Gainesville to get boba.

The milk tea is very strong and the boba is the perfect texture and sweetness. Other options are pretty good too. My personal favorite besides the milk tea is the yogurt grapefruit. Given that, I generally wouldn't expect to get anything fruity slushy here (Go to Lollicup for that). Service is usually quick.

The one downside is that Lollicup has a much better relationship with the Gainesville community that KFT certainly lacks.

I wish it wasn't as close to Lollicup. Because, though I like this place, I will almost always choose Lollicup over it. If this was in a different location, I could definitely see myself going here for location reasons. The tea is good! The atmosphere is just a little cold compared to Lollicup. Can see it might be better for studying, however, I am out of college.

Really friendly staff! They were out of what I wanted so they recommended something similar and it was wonderful!

I wish they had more flavor options. Their boba is usually undercooked and their taro flavor must be made a little differently because it doesn't taste like what I'm familiar with.

The place was good when it's quiet. I came to this place because I wanted to study. The setting for this place was more toward a study environment than Lollicup. I am staring to love their teas.

I loved the atmosphere! Great place to sit and play games and read Manga. That's right you read correctly! Play games and read Manga.
Haven't even tried the Tea but LOVE the place anyway.

You should definitely try the Taro slush w/ oreo, so good!

Jordan Poore

Best place in Gainesville for boba tea. Their boba is always the perfect texture and taste. Their food is equally amazing.
