This shop was my go-to ice cream stop when they carried dairy products (the cardamom and dark chocolate-orange flavors were the absolute BEST). I understand that their supplier went out of business during COVID (not their fault), but they have shifted toward being a fully Vegan cafe and no longer carry and ice cream that isn't coconut milk based. It's a bit of a different vibe with some great vegan options including their dessert case. 4 stars only because I miss their former offerings and hope they'll consider reincorporating dairy options in the future.

I really like karma cream because the vibe is really cute in there they have lots of flavors and topping options, their ice cream taste great. They have good customer service and the prices aren’t too bad definitely a place worth checking out and I’d get ice cream from here again

Really delicious vegan food and very nice atmosphere. the food menu is small and simple (all sandwiches), but every item is tasty and can't really go wrong. The bakery items have a good deal of variety. My favorite menu item is the reuben sandwich, it's warm and toasty, well-sauced, the sauerkraut is delicious, and the corned "beef" is great.

karma cream has many different options of vegan sandwiches, teas, baked goods, and ice cream! my favorite sandwiches are the club and the reuben. even my non-vegan friends love it here!

This is my favorite cafe in Gainesville, always friendly staff and great vegan food options. However, since having a baby it’s sad to see how many places don’t have a changing table in their bathroom, this place included. It makes it hard to stay and enjoy ourselves if I need to change a diaper.

This review would have been 5 stars but this past experience rubbed my husband and I the wrong way. We visit karma cream a few times a year while traveling back and forth from Florida to out of State. It is a detour off the highway but we feel like the food is worth it, and they have allergen friendly foods that I can eat. We just went out of town and had food on our way up to Alabama from here, which was great. On our way back we left early so we could make it in time to enjoy an early dinner on our way home. After six hours of driving, we arrived here at 3:20, they close at 4pm. We were refused simple sandwiches because they apparently have a strict rule of not serving sandwiches an hour before they close. This was a waste of time for us to leave early and take a detour here for food. I’ve heard of restaurants to stop serving hot food like 15 minutes before closing, but an hour?!? Now we know, and maybe we’ll find a better place to detour to and spend our money at.

Cream in the name Karma Cream suggests one might find it to be an ice cream parlor, but no. Or at least one focused on the icy delight, but no. One would be sadly disappointed if you hoped to find more than 6 flavors. Even sadder still? The two flavors (2 scoops for OVER $10? Holy COW!) I had were not good: rocky road and pistachio nut.
I’d call this more of a trendy food & coffee parlor that serves a little ice cream. And a person at the counter who did you the favor of waiting on you. My cappuccino took almost 5 minutes.
Bottom line? Skip Karma Cream. BRobbins is better.

We asked for 2 hot coffee items and got 2 cool to lukewarm cups. Requested the breakfast sandwich and were told we were 7 minutes late. Only 6 other patrons in the place. Oh the look I got when I asked them to “heat up my coffee” in the microwave…it was 35 degrees outside and I was needing to warm up. The manager gave me stink eye.

My son has been to your restaurant several times because he likes the club sandwich.
However, at least twice he didn’t get any bacon and today he got only bacon, but none of the other vegan meat. He should not have to check his sandwich to see if it’s prepared properly. Very disappointed.😞

Came here on a Thursday night, not terribly busy, which is definitely a bonus! I came with some friends and the staff were absolutely delightful, super kind, and just seemed friendly overall. The general atmosphere inside was very welcoming and quite trendy I felt, positive for sure!
I got a single scoop of pistachio nut which was made without milk, and it only came out to like $4.50. Personally never been a big fan of milk-less ice cream, and this wasn't an exception. I'm not used to the taste but it was still good overall, and i believe anyone who enjoys milk-less ice cream would enjoy this for sure. I could definitely taste the pistachio though!
Sadly this type of ice cream isn't for me but i can still tell it's quality so otherwise it's a great business. I will say they do have a lot of other options like sandwiches and all kinds of local coffee.
