Concord is becoming our favorite coffee shop. My husband loves their espresso, I really like their tea and our day is made when the avocado toast is available. Their seating area is mellow and comfortable.

Great place to have a coffee break and relax.
Lounge music and very friendly staff.

I tried this place for the first time. The male staff took my order (a bagel and an iced coffee). He did not wash his hands prior to beginning to prepare my bagel. He came to wipe off my table with a used rag and collected the dirt from the table into his hands, and then went right back to making my bagel without washing his hands. He went ahead and scratched his ear and nose while waiting for my bagel to toast, and went ahead and took it out with those same dirty hands. That was so unsanitary. Won't be coming back.

I go to concord almost every day. It is a convenient location for students, the atmosphere is great, customer service is second to none, and the coffee is great quality. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is how expensive it is. My regular order is a latte and an avocado toast is easily $10-$11. I also am frustrated that it costs extra to be sweetened. I would add my own sugar but they work hard on the latte art and hate to ruin it.

This place is amazing. Best coffee shop I’ve ever been to. Amazing decor, amazing coffee, great vibe, barista was nice and coffee came out quick. 6 stars is more deserved if I could give 6. Don’t miss an opportunity to go here.

Just had a very rude barista take my order, she was very sharp with her words and acted Like I was a problem when I ordered a small drip iced coffee, mocha with whole milk. I left her a 5 cent tip. Drip was 2.75, mocha was .75 and whole I dont what it was. The total was around 5 dollars (little more than). I think was scammed. Be cautious of who is taking your order.

Concord gets an 8 out 10 based on: customer service (2/2), location environment (2/3), and coffee quality (4/4) (the tenth point is for the "it" factor, which they lack). They're the second or third best coffee shop in Gainesville, after Pascal's and possibly Volta. They lack in parking. But that's okay, since their drip is the best in town... at least the Ethiopia is. Worth a visit.
Edit: Concord's coffee is the best in town. Better than Volta. Best ice coffee I've ever had. Location better than originally thought due to spacious upstairs (including Gator Wesley). Changing to 9 out of 10.

It is an honor to be the first to review a terrific new business. Concord Coffee is a gem in what is already a very crowded Gainesville coffee market. It will be around a long time.
In a past life I ran a coffee shop for years and I can tell you from experience that Concord has a knowledgeable, and friendly, staff that is operating a superb espresso machine and serving products made from high quality coffee beans.
The energy and decor inside the business is as much a reason to come to Concord as the coffee. The vibe reminds me very much of businesses in Wynwood (Miami) or Hyde Park (Tampa).
Well done.

Honestly the layout of this cafe is so wonderful and pleasing that I would recommend you study or do some work here for the great change of scenery. I of course do wish there were more outlets. The drinks here are also quality as well and I appreciate the care they provide for their customers.
