Mon Paris Coffee Shop & Bakery

My husband and I have been going to Mon Paris Bakery for about 5 years now. In that time, the Bakery has changed owners several times. We went in today and were surprised to see smiling new faces greeting us with kindness and a newly renovated dining area. It was apparent new ownership had taken over, and immediately the service level was raised. The food has always been excellent, but previously the service had been lacking. Not today. The new owners, even though it was close to closing time, struck up a conversation with my husband about his shoes (batman) and we quickly eased into banter about how great comics are. They took care in making sure our order was correct, coming by several times to make sure our food was delicious and that we were happy. They even took the time to ask where we were from and how long we had been coming there. They wanted to make sure to know if we were regulars so they could get to know us better. The other noteworthy thing is that they still had all menue items in stock when arrived close to closing. Previously the Bakery would run out of bread at around 10 in the morning every day and you couldn't order sandwiches, which defeats the purpose of their lunch menu. These new owners took great care to make sure they had plenty of everything up until closing. We are so delighted with this new change, and we will be back even more often now for our favorite coffees, Bakery items, and brunch dates.

So quaint and adorable. Pastries are absolutely amazing. Sandwiches are also great. Still more to try so I'll be back.

Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is awesome, cozy and authentic. The pastries are INCREDIBLE- OMG delicious, coupled with awesome coffee selections your day is sure to be made!! I had a savory crepe filled with organic greens, cheese and meat. It was way too much for me to eat so I shared it with my guy. Worth every penny! Get all of your breads and deserts HERE, stop wasting your $ in grocery store "bakeries".

Staff is very friendly and helpful. A little hard to find, as it is actually on the backside of this strip plaza, among nondescript office spaces.

Love the menu. Love the ambiance. The couple who own the establishment need some assistance. First, recognize customers when they enter the restaurant. This isn’t France. You are not doing us a favor. Second, when a mistake is made (be it customer or owner) apologize. Say I’m sorry. Third, hire a third person. You (the owners) will make it up in additional coffee drinks, lattes, etc being sold. You are missing out on incremental sales (pastries, bead, cakes, etc) because there is now one there to take an order. The wife, who serves as the server, busser, etc is overwhelmed and is not a customer friendly person. Not a slam, just an observation. Some people are not comfortable with serving people. She is one of those.We hope you succeed. You (collectively) work very hard. It’s not an easy business, but you have the ability to succeed. I hope that you do.

Went for my mother’s birthday today and was extremely disappointed with the female server behind the counter. She was so rude and unfriendly, basically yelling at us because we didn’t know that the menu had changed. After waiting an extremely long time to place our order she proceeded to get frustrated and walk away from us while we were ordering. We were extremely understanding of the fact that she was overwhelmed but her behaviour was beyond rude. Although she sadly burnt herself later, and we ended up leaving before completing our order, her behaviour prior to the incident was highly offensive and is the reason we will not come back or recommend this place.

Wonderful food, but very unorganized and horrible service. Plus take for ever and they bring coffee and food cold.

I LOVE it here and recommend it highly! The food is so delicious and the staff is super friendly. I love the outdoor seating area and the atmosphere inside is beautifully French. I like that the ingredients are fresh and that the flour for their fresh baked goods and breads is imported from France. One suggestion I would like is for the straws be eco friendly as opposed to plastic. Love everything about this cafe!

I’ve been obsessed with Parisian culture and cappuccino since I left Paris for the first time. So I decided to find a nice little cafe Parisian themed. This place is so adorable, there’s cappuccinos are delicious and the baker knows what they are doing because the baked goods tastes exactly like the ones you get from Paris. If you come for a baked good I recommend the fruit basket it taste incredible!

This was our first visit, and it was around 11am. We tried the almond croissant, a Napoleon Classic, an apple strudel, and a chocolate cream-filled cupcake. The only thing I liked was the Napoleon Classic. Next time we’ll try a quiche or something else entirely. Def just an ok experience so far.
