Spud’s Coffee

Spud’s Coffee is a somewhat new coffee spot near the intersection of Oakland Park Blvd and A1A in the Galt Mile area. The food and treats are baked in house, and the menu looks to have a great variety. Quiches, scones, and sandwiches, are among the items they offer that I tried and found to be delicious. As far as which coffee they serve, I’m not entirely sure, when I visited I saw they were selling Edison Coffee Co. Telegraph Blend, perhaps that’s what they were serving at the time. The coffee was great! Spud’s seems to craft unique signature drinks that might only be on the menu for a season. The Berry Blossom signature drink that they had in the spring was fantastic, and should have been kept on the menu longer, perhaps even all year round.
The interiors of the coffee shop is an eclectic mix, mostly contemporary with a nod to traditional. It fits East Fort Lauderdale, relaxed enough for tourists and families and also feeling somewhat familiar for the old-timers. With all the windows near the entrance, it gets a lot of natural light, which I like. You do have to pay to park in this area, which is a bummer, but still this coffee shop is worth checking out. Great coffee, delicious food, and a welcoming environment, I will definitely come back to Spud’s for a visit when I’m in the neighborhood.

One word WOW! Spuds passed the Macciato test with flying colors! 9.9 out of 10. I normally don't order sweets but the French toast recommended by the server was out of this world. Look at the photos. Francesca was my server she was kind polite and did an amazing job. I currently work as a server and I can attest to this from experience. The vibe of this shop is cute quiet and cultured a great place to meet up with friends or get busy work done. Definitely one of my new favorite spots!

I am a restaurant interior designer so I really appreciate the fresh, airy, vibe with the industrial design. It has a very welcoming, friendly energy that makes you want to come again.

You will find great coffee here and a great brunch menu, you must try the Eggs Benedict hence no pic since I ate them too quick!
It was delicious and served on a beautiful vintage plate.

Staff is awesome!

If you like artisan coffee, craft coffee, handmade coffee, single-origin coffee…whatever you call it, this is the only place you should go. Pour overs, cold brew, they have it all. Amazing breakfast and brunch items also. World-class baristas are skilled and super-nice!

The place is new, the service is classy, and the type of coffee is delicious compared to other cafes. The breakfast is varied. I tried avocado toast and it was delicious, also the prices are very reasonable 🤍✨

Came here after a lovely morning at the spa. It was great food and what we needed. I got the chai tea and my boyfriend got a coffee. He did enjoy his sandwich I enjoyed a lighter lunch of Granola. The Granola with great yogurt was a delight. I lovey the fresh pour of honey and honey comb added.

Spuds is a hidden gem in Ft.Lauderdale. The service and food are amazing. If you’re a coffee connoisseur, this is the place for you. The skilled baristas deliver quality drinks with a beautiful presentation. I can’t wait to come back for the pesto chicken salad sandwich (DIVINE), burrata toast and all of the drinks.

Such a cozy cafe on the corner! I had a birthday breakfast here and everyone in our group loved it. All the food was delicious. I really loved the banana nut bread. Staff was also really nice. Can't wait to come back for more tea!

Highly recommend, everything was a great experience. From the decor, location , coffee and food. Everyone here is wonderful, the decor is fresh, birght especially with a corner location, there's is great lighting. The owner and staff are amazing, very attentive and the coffee was dialed in to perfection. If you want the best coffee experience and where the food matches the quality you will not be disappointed.

I live like 2 minutes from here and I’ve been here multiple times absolutely incredible food. Always fresh and so good and such an incredible and awesome staff here also. I really love this place definitely recommend to everyone!!!!!
