THIS WAS THE CUTEST LIL GEM OF A ROASTERY / BRUNCH STOP!!! It is in a very unassuming location, inside the gas station, but WOW it's amazing. Very cute, cozy, and colorful! Both table and booth seating is available, or you could take to-go. Their food was fresh, delicious, and prepared very timely. THE DRINKS WERE GREAT! The staff were professional and kind! I highly recommend if you need a quick bite to eat on the go or just want a small local bite near Davie or Cooper City. I would definitely visit again!

This spot has easily become addicting and a family favorite! The coffee is amazing and everything on breakfast menu is delicious. We go weekly, either to sit or take out. My kids love the egg sandwich and pancakes, we love the avocado toast, Fabio’s favorite, iron man or omelette. We switch it up

Tried this place for the first time last weekend with my boyfriend. It's such a cute place! I ordered an Omelette and blueberry muffin. I can't remember the name of what my boyfriend had but it was a baguette with sunny side up eggs, pesto sauce, cherry tomatoes, avocado, and goat cheese (I think). (Pics attached) We both ordered cappuccinos. It didn't take long for our food to come out. My omelette was really good, although I would've liked a bit more seasoning. It was stuffed with tomatoes and onions and I ordered some avocado on the side to put on my toast. At first we weren't sure if we would get full off the meal, because it felt so light, but after finishing our coffee and the muffin, it felt just right 👍 The restaurant itself has cute and happy decor. We will be coming back again in the future. I will say though between us both, it ended up being a little over $50.

Macondo is my favorite coffee shop in this area. They have amazing coffee, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere. The decor and the music are awesome too.
The only downside is the food quality. The menu is varied, but the food is not very fresh or flavorful. The unit in Coral Gables has better food. I hope they can improve their food quality here.
I still give them five stars for their service, quality, and value. They are a great place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee.

We found this place looking for a coffee shop ,it was a pleasant surprise, we initially came for coffee but we ended up having lunch here. I had a bowl called mi Tierra and my husband had a Italian chicken sandwich and iced latte. After lunch I ended up ordering a macchiato and I really like the coffee taste. I can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu.

Love love loooved it! The place is amazing, cozy, with a great vibe. The service was A+, even if the food weren’t that good, the service does it all. The egg sandwich was really yummy but I want to make a special comment about the bread, WOW!
The Colombian empanadas were really good too. We had chicken empanadas. The guava and coco cake was really good too, not too sweet which is great with a cup of coffee.
I’m certainly coming back. Can’t wait to try another thing in the menu since everything looked so great.

If this is your first time visiting Macondo then this is what you need to know: get in the line-it moves quickly by the way- the line will take you to the register where you will placed your order and while you wait in line please look up to the walls where you will see their menus so you will be ready as soon as you get to meet the cashier; after you pay they will give you a number for your order and then you can request help to be seated. The food will come to your table and while that happens please enjoy live music 🎼 Note: not sure if the music is daily or weekends only, apologies I forgot to ask 🤪Excellent service!!! The barista that works here is top notch, he really knows what he is doing and makes delicious and gorgeous coffee presentations! Kudos to him! The restaurant decor is very original, cute and makes the whole place very fun to be in. The food menu and the coffee menu are great 👍🏽 they also offer live music 🎼 and please TIP very well the singer and support young talent , thank you 🙏 I highly recommend Macondo to everyone!

My friends and I came here because of the reviews, but unfortunately our food experience wasn’t great.
The place is called Macondo “Coffee Roasters” for a reason. It’s good for coffee, not for food. So overall, I wouldn’t eat here again. The eggs were slimy and under seasoned. The potatoes were cold and under seasoned too. And the bacon… well it was as thin as single ply toilet paper and too salty. The salchichas…. Cold and out of place in my opinion.
As for the coffee, I ordered a pumpkin spice latte and what I got was a regular latte. But it tasted great and the presentation was very nice. I would order coffee here again.
As for the environment, if you want to read a book or study or have a conversation… don’t go. We wanted to have a nice chat but they started playing loud live music. But I did like the songs that the guy was singing and he knew how to play the guitar well so kudos to him.

Found this place because of the reviews and loved my experience there! I told the barista it was my first time there, so he explained all the different types of coffee they had and how it's best served. The coffee was very very good and I also got breakfast, an omelet meal and a ham and cheese arepa. Both were good! I definitely want to go back.
