The Local Market

This was such a fun sandwich shop with lots of options to choose from. They had weekly specials and lots of seating. The Thai salad with added chicken was amazing. My daughter had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Possibly the best PB&j I've ever seen.

Loved this hole in the wall. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious. There was no wait to order at 11:30am Sunday. Majority of the food must be homemade. I had the biscuits and gravy & a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. My sister got a egg, bacon and has brown break fast. My brother in law got a burger, he loved it. Except for the pickles and the bbq sauce. They’ had a bit of a sour radish taste. Definitely fresh but not our speed. My friend Logan had a hash brown bowl with grits. We loved everything. Will definitely be coming back.

Great place for a quick lunch after a day on the beach. Had the half muffaletta sandwich with tots. Sandwich was top notch. Delicious and fresh. Would have given 5 stars but the tater tots were barely warm. Almost as if they'd been in a warming drawer all day. Had the tots been hot and fresh this would have received 5 stars. I would definitely return to try another sandwich.

Delicious! Really cute restaurant and great food. The Cuban sandwich & chicken salad were really good. The watermelon juice was incredible!

Went here for lunch to check out the place. Got a veggie sandwich and a few smoothies the boys got some sandwiches and fries. I didn’t really care for the smoothies they were too watery for my liking but my son liked them. It’s a little pricey but I would go again. They have some cool pinball machines tucked away in a corner and funky decor. I plan to go back soon and also visit their attached restaurant La Paz.

A MUST for brunch! Burrito and tacos were fantastic. Food was made quickly. Really fun atmosphere!

Always great, I almost don't want to post about it because I feel like this is such a gem that currently doesn't have the insane lines of some locations but has way better food.

My wife and I heard about Local Market so stopped in for a try. Definitely deserves the 5 star rating, it’s a community type table setting ( long tables find a spot and squeeze in). Great local homey atmosphere I had the Cuban and wife had the Italian both sandwiches were fantastic, bread toasted perfect. They have a daily special as well and that’ll be our next try on next stop. They also give a discount paying by cash. Definitely worth the stop.

We landed here after abandoning a popular breakfast joint due to a ridiculous long line to get in. We stay close by at Jetty East every time we come to Destin, so we will be back. Serves breakfast til 3pm. Cool atmosphere. Honey butter chicken biscuit was delicious!! Biscuits and gravy were good but just average. So, I wish I had tried something else. The side of grits had no flavor, but I suspect they don’t season them due to serving them in breakfast bowls with other flavored ingredients. The donut was good, and we got full fast! So, we are looking forward to eating the cinnamon roll later. I read another review about the lack of masks and friendliness from the staff, and I would have to agree. The young man who rang us up was not rude, but not very warm or friendly, and when I asked if the gravy was sausage or bacon, he didn’t know the answer. That is not enough to keep us from eating here again. We will definitely come back to try more menu items!! Hopefully the pandemic will be over and masks won’t be an issue the next time we come down.

This place was recommended by a local and did not disappoint. I had the avocado toast and it was delicious. The location was easy to find, lots of seating available and the service was wonderful. There are a lot of options to choose from on their menu and they also have weekday specials. If you want to support local businesses, this is one to visit!
