Never been to France but the espresso/croissant pairing here feels pretty close. (Minus the offensive statue of Lincoln)

Amazing selection, delicious desserts, and lovely owners and staff! Always make a point to stop in when we’re by Lincoln park.

Great coffee but even better baristas! Lulu and John are our favorite stop at the end of a long day inside then a stroll through Lincoln Park. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch a sighting of the cutest golden retriever, Oscar, moseying about the plant filled courtyard.

They forgot my drink and were incredibly rude and condescending not only to me, but to the other people in line.

Stumbled onto Wine & Butter on a bike ride few months back through Capitol Hill and Lincoln Park, was looking for a coffee shop that makes a great Iced Americano. So many of us are looking for just one destination to brighten our moods during this pandemic madness, maybe a place to tell friends we can meet for a walk or a stop-off on a bike ride. This is that place. I miss Europe. Don't we all miss Europe? Even the idea of traveling to Europe? Get an espresso drink or grab a bottle of wine here while you're at it, and you'll get your European-vibe-fix with Lincoln Park sprawled across the way. Social distancing? Check that box. Tables set up a good distance apart. Order safely from outside through a window that is quaintly set up at knee-height, it brings a smile to your face. Dog friendly? Check, water bowl too. If Atilla is around he may be busy running the place but say hello, and make a suggestion; he'll thank you for it. Always leave feeling just a little better about our world.

This place feels like a European market and cafe. The friendly staff and owners offer an excellent selection of drinks at the take-away espresso bar window and a myriad of specialty food inside. These days, their special measures taken to reduce the spread of diesease is also appreciated!

Great little corner market. Serves Illy coffee at the coffee counter and has it for sale in cans. Sells interesting, fancy little foods and breads that are perfect to take across the street for a picnic in Lincoln Park.
No vegetarian sandwiches, would be nice if they'd offer a veggie/hummus wrap.

Poor COVID-protection protocols. Although I like this place, last time I attended the barista took his mask off twice while talking to me and serving coffee. I had asked him politely to put it back on and yet continuously took it off. I emailed the owners about this situation and unfortunately, they did not offer recourse into talking to their staff, nor an apology. If you're trying to keep healthy, perhaps this is not the best place.

Great little local shop with most of the essentials plus great coffee. Extensive wine selection as well as a good assortment of cheeses. Super nice employees and a pleasant place to sit both inside and on the patio.

I've been here a few times and always enjoy the drink I get. The guy who's usually running the place jokes that the machine is broken or just been cleaned to get me sad before he tells me he'll make me a drink. Always a great time.
