Excellent place to purchase coffee beans. Look elsewhere for a comfortable dining experience and exceptional baked goods .

We used to love coming here for the great variety of whole bean coffee flavors… but sadly this will be our last visit here. Bought 5 bag of whole bean coffee @$56 and had the “nerve” to ask for a bag to carry them out since we were planning to continue shopping locally before retiring to our car. Appreciate that plastic bags are an environmental issue, but normally stores have paper bags available for larger purchases for a small fee. The lack of bag wasn’t the issue, rather the attitude of the counter person. In a very condescending tone, she ‘offered’ to put the coffee bags in individual pastry bags. When I said that doesn’t really help, and asked if they have any type of bag to hold all 5 bags, she was just plan unprofessional and condescending like expecting a shop to have a bag available for multi-item purchases is a problem. If she’s the owner, definitely a poor example for other servers and if not, the owner needs to mandate a training on customer service for her.

I’ve been to this place like an year ago, and decided on Saturday to give it another chance and try. Coffe was horrible, I ordered an iced latte, no any flavors, and seing just the color, I knew it’s not going to be good.
As I was paying, after literally 10 second’s they said my coffee was ready. It tasted really bad, and with tips I paid almost $6.
I think that’s a lot of money for coffee not to be good. I’m not the person which returns drinks& food, but will definitely not be back.
Disappointed

Coffee is good and so are the pastries, but the service is garbage. The man who served my mother cut off her order rather rudely before she could finish and then stormed off. Maybe we asked too many questions and we did have a good amount of people in our group so we had a few different orders, but I've never had that happen to us before.

Grabbed a ton of delicious pastries for my staff. All were excellent. The drip coffee never disappoints, always a good selection.

I had high hopes, but each one of the coffees taste burnt. A large variety of extremely low quality coffee and tea :(
We also got a breakfast croissant that tasted like microwave cardboard. Between two people we spent $15.

Delicious coffee and tasty pastry. Pleasant and helpful staff

Same as last year, October 2021 vs 2022, lousy attitudes by counter personnel. This is mainly a tourist town, treat the tourists politely EVEN if they ask a question about your coffee drinks. Pretend you have some knowledge and share it. My business goes elsewhere.

Delicious coffee and pastries! I love their flavored coffee bean selection (and of course they will grind it for whatever way you brew your coffee). Definitely stop in and grab some coffee and beans!

Nice little place to grab some coffee and a pastry in Lewes. They roast their own coffee beans and have quite a few to choose from when getting a cup of coffee and a ton of options if you are getting a bag to go. As for food, their wheel house is the sweet pastries. Seating is limited but there are plenty of benches on 2nd street or you can take your breakfast to the park on the canal just a block away, if alfresco is ok with you.
