The Perfect Cup Cafe

I called in a breakfast order Friday morning, just eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns and was told it would be a 30min wait to pick up the order. I cancelled the order and went to Quinn's instead. The girl charged my Visa and The Perfect cup was closed yesterday AND is closed today, with no one to talk to about me getting a refund for AN ORDER I CANCELLED.

WHY WAS MY CARD EVEN CHARGED???

Not sure what's going on at the Perfect cup but the service is diminishing quickly and has been for about a month. Every time I call in an order the girl taking it cuts me off with different questions. No I don't want a drink, let me place my order without interrupting and if I want a drink I'll tell you. Ask for my name at the end of the order. It takes an average of 5 mins to place an order over the phone now with the Perfect cup. I called Quinn's and placed an order and the conversation lasted about a minute and a half and that because I had 2 questions! I won't be returning, especially after my card is charged and they're closed for 2 days with my money sitting in their account for an order that I cancelled.

I almost don't want to let anyone else know about the best place for breakfast in the county. So, so good. The sweet potato pancakes are amazing, and the latte actually was perfect. Fantastic omellett and quiche, as well.

The Perfect Cup Cafe is the hidden gem of Hockessin. It's the only restaurant my partner and I have returned to time and time again after moving to the area. One of the few cafes I've been too where the breakfast and lunch are equally delicious, and all of the staff is so friendly. Hands down my favorite place to grab a bite to eat in the area.

There food is prepared by a true chef and is very tasty. I love the pesto chicken salad. My only problem is it gets extremely smoky in there. If it didn't get so smoky it would be a 5 star rating.

Very good, freshly prepared food. Quick, friendly service. No table service, order then send to the table. Smokey inside due to the grill, but this has been substantially reduced since I first posted this review. Nice selection of coffee and tea.

I occasionally stop for a fancy coffee and breakfast sandwich. They never disappoint. The owners are very friendly and happy to make things just to your liking.

Excellent food and my latte was great! It’s a cute family run diner that will not disappoint. Definitely recommend checking it out!

The chicken salad is delicious! The employees are friendly, professional, welcoming, friendly and appreciative of the business. Always good times here.

Stopped in for my morning joe. Had a cup of Chiapas. Excellent! With a chocolate chip muffin on the side. Bliss!
