We go to Dewey once a year for the Running of the Bull. It's become a tradition to stop by here for breakfast before heading across the street. The sandwiches and coffee are just simple and delicious

Coffee was great. Berry protein smoothie had awesome flavor. My son enjoyed his bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel. The honey bun was incredible ~ so fresh the glaze was oozing off it.

The person "in charge", presumably the owner, likes to push her political agenda on her political agenda with her customers. We went there 2 days in a row (not a ton of options for a quick bagel in Dewey) and our order was wrong or missing something BOTH times. I only complained to her on the second visit because we ordered 2 sandwiches and only got 1. She started in about being short staffed and then alluded to some other business (completely unrelated to her business or my problem) not being opened at all and would not own the fact that her employees were screwing up. Her teenage employee, who mistakenly told my wife both sandwiches were there owned his mistake and promptly got me the missing item. Take a hint from your employees and own your problems...its not their fault - its yours.

To end on a positive note, their food and coffee offerings are really good. Just don't engage the owner, she'll feed you BS and try and buy you off with a free doughnut.

Pro Tip: good employees are only as good as their leadership. Your business, your problems...not mine.

TLDR: Good food, bad customer service.

I got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a plain bagel. I thought it was okay. Nothing special but it wasnt bad either. They seemed more like a coffee place and the coffee smelled REALLY good. I'm just not a coffee drinker so my rating is strictly for the sandwich

"Go someplace else!" the manager screamed at me and my young daughter this morning, It was our first morning ever in Dewey Beach, and we had spotted Baked the night before while eating across the street. "Go someplace else!" another elderly employee screamed at us as we left. We had paid for three cups of coffee and a fruit cup 35 minutes previously, only to discover there was no coffee! We waited, and waited, I asked the people in line if this was normal, they agreed it was weird. I would not recommend this place. The coffee (when it finally showed up) wasn't very good, and their hostile attitude towards customers is the exact opposite of what their competitors are offering in a tourist town.

The food was delicious! Had a cream cheese bagel with cucumbers and capers and it was delicious!! Also had a vanilla ice coffee which is exactly what I needed on the hot day!

Pictures are very deceiving. They had a few doughnuts and 2 types of muffins. My husband ordered a smoothie and after we paid they said the couldn’t make it. My mocha-coffee was so hot I had to let it sit for 20 minutes to cool down. It was not the full size of the cup and had no taste of mocha. The young people working there did not smile nor say thank you.

This place is amazing! Pam is wonderful!! I went there last year while on vacation and had an amazing breakfast and coffee. I have been getting baked goods sent to my place of business in Baltimore. The cookies, donuts, everything is absolutely amazing!! Will be my breakfast stop when I get back up to Dewey! I will continue to get things sent to me to enjoy this place from a far!!

I was excited to stop in to this shop. The staff was very cold and seemed annoyed having to take care of customers. When they were preparing our drinks the had their masks off their face. I got a mocha latte and was happy with it, but my boyfriend’s strawberry banana fruit smoothie had no flavor and not good. I won’t be returning.
