Half Moon Coffee & Grille Cafe

Went there on a Tuesday afternoon. Had a salmon wrap which got me sick afterwards. Thought I had food poisoning. Wished I caught it earlier...

I always had heard so much about Half moon, finally yesterday I went there to eat appetizers. The food was delicious, stuff was friendly, they follow all the SOP's which is quite a good in this situation.

This place is reasonably priced and is quiet, it's a good spot to go to relax and eat. Service wasn't to friendly, but wasn't the worst either and the food was delicious and came to us pretty quick.

Love this place, great daily menu selections, order at the counter then they serve it to your table, BYOB, delicious food, what more could you ask for?

We really enjoy the Half Moon. The menu is interesting and meals are always tasty and enjoyable. Always busy but with plenty of room and never feel rushed. Very pleasant environment.

Be sure to try out the scallop appetizer! Its not only flattering to the eyes but the balsamic reduction marries the prosciutto, scallops, asiago cheese, arugula thats creatively arranged on a half pineapple.

The cheese filled tortelloni is made in house (rare to find) and you can taste the difference. The vodka sauce with sweet peas makes gives it a fun contemporary look and is seriously the best Tortellini ive had in the states.

The slice of canoli cake was generous enough to be shared by two. The frosting was rich but not overwhemingly sweet like most cakes end up being for me.

Its a busy/fun type of place. Not being from CT, I could tell by tge constant stream of people on a Sunday night that it is a favorite place for locals. The owner Stefano, and his staff were all very gracious hosts and I highly recommend this place.

Great food as always! The service was a bit slow, but overall a nice dinner and a favorite spot.

They are open on Fridays. BYOB. Order than sit style but gourmet. Good for business lunches. Great coffee. They do have soy milk too.

This is a unique place in town very comfortable with a good selection of coffee teas Pizza desserts you can't go wrong everything I've ever had it's phenomenal

Food is always top notch and wait staff is always friendly. Only drawback is sometimes hard to carry on a conversation because it is quite noisy when busy, wich is often the case.
