Half Moon Coffee & Grille Cafe

I have been at Half Moon many times, and will return for more visits to come. There food and service are both awesome.
Favorite pizza is the Shrimp with Zuchinni and squash. I would recommend Half Moon to anyone, give it a try for yourself.

Did not bother trying their food since it is ridiculously overpriced for what they are serving. The service is probably the worst thing about this place, they have zero passion for the food they are serving and the coffee they are making. You can't even see the menu from the register... it's turned around and put to the side facing away from you. Also when they make espresso, they don't clean the portafilter... so you end up tasting old residue from previously made coffee... which they also serve to you in a paper cup lol.

The only good thing about this place is the somewhat cozy feeling inside... which every coffee shop should already have.

This place has a lot of potential... but it lacks what a coffee shop should be... a friendly place with a welcoming vibe when you get to the register. I would suggest letting go of the black hair chick at the register since her face seems to be permanently frozen as -.-

One of my favorite places to eat. BYOB. Fabulous sandwiches and wraps, great salads, fish dishes, and pasta. There are a lot of daily specials and they're always fantastic. If you're in Wallingford, this place is great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

If you enjoy rude terrible service than this would be my number one recommendation. Didn’t even end up ordering because of the atrocious customer service every single employee was rude or dismissive to me except for one very nice women who showed me to a table. Waited 35 minutes nobody even seemed to know we were there. Easy choice to never entertain the thought of going back.

Great little coffee shop and bistro. Their food is always delicious and fresh, and the speciality coffees are equally delicious. They also have great pizza, and you can even byob should you want to indulge.

Little Jr high kids seated by the bathroom trying to call me mam when I walked in & out of the restroom. Not usually a hang out spot either. I stared and yelled. at them Needs coffee fixins / condiments and trash more accessible and instead of walking through crowded tables to get to. Slices of pizza often dried out after being placed in oven a second time for reheating. Too much barbecue sauce on chicken BBQ pizza

Avoid the steak, order as soon as you get there because food takes hours to get to the table.

I love the food.. Delicious and the staff is so friendly!

Had lunch here today with my boyfriend after church. All the tables around us were served bread while,waiting for their meals, we were not. Was it because we ar ,African American?
I had a,salad and the greens,were very wilted as if they were left in an open fridge, the dressing lacked vinegar which I had to ask for. Overall a poor experience. If your going to serve bread then serve it to all.

Half moon is my favorite Italian restaurant in Wallingford. Service is always speedy as friendly and the food delicious. Think everything from pizza to panini. The specials change frequently too making eating with the seasons a fun adventure.
