The Donut Station

There is not just donuts at The Donut Station. Great first experience here. I have been wanting to try the donuts here for a few months after hearing about them on restaurant.com. We had to go to Social Security office in Torrington, The Donut Station is a few minutes away. When the opportunity presents itself, go for it. Lots of great donut selections. I loved the chocolate frosted and glazed. I had a small bite of the blueberry which is very good also.

They also have some delicious egg sandwiches. I got the bacon egg and cheese on a roll which was good. I tried a bite of my daughter’s sausage egg and cheese on a croissant, sadly it was better than mine. I chose wrong this day. Plenty of drink options, including coffee which some have raved about. I didn’t try the coffee so I cannot give an opinion. You can take out, sit inside at a booth, or go to the drive-through. Later in the day they discount the donuts. Definitely stop by here for a donut and an egg sandwich.

I don’t know what they do to their smoothies, I threw mine out before I even left the building. It tasted like rotten ice, if that’s even a thing. Lady who was taking orders had an attitude with both me, and the gentleman that came in after me. This place used to be great, not so much anymore.

Update same day : the rancid smoothie and single bite I took of the breakfast sandwich I ordered just made me violently sick. I will be contacting the health department. If you read this review, I wouldn’t get anything from this restaurant.

The staff was great, the food is delicious and fast. They were out of my favorite donut and Jenn and Ashley made it fresh for me to order. It was great

Good coffee, best staff. I love the classic interior. Can we call it a Torrington landmark now?
But can you stop using Styrofoam cups please?

So many donuts! The best part is they taste so good and the selection is fun. I got a beautifully decorated cannoli donut that was fantastic! The coffee is really good too.

Update: Although I appreciate the free donut I would rather keep it real. Hopefully next time I stop by its the same as the 1st experience which was exceptional. Like I said I don't understand the inconsistency.
It's so weird It's hit n miss.
I had the best glazed here and the next day ot wasn't the same. I'm not saying that it was yesterday's just saying I don't understand the inconsistency.

Best donut shop in town you got to try “The Sticky Bun” it’s simply amazing five stars

Whenever I go to Torrington to get donuts I will come here! They're far better than anywhere else.

Amazing place! Never had better donuts, their caramel cappuccino is the right amount of everything. Everyone of my friends/family I have brought them food from here loves it. 100% recommend!

Very good donuts and coffee drinks. Probably upgrade this to 5 stars after next visit but I need to taste more donuts and the cake bombs. The lemon filled was very good and the Boston creme was okay. My cold chocolate coffee drink was excellent. I'm so tired of so much of the coffee available at other coffee places being just okay when you shell out 6 or 7 dollars for them. Will be back but I want to go inside and look or the selection of baked goods. Hopefully they are planning on opening up this week.
