Cafe' 38

Great little sandwich shop. Paninis, wraps and sandwiches. Small place, but very attentive staff and super helpful. There is also ice cream, but we didn't try it. It looked good.

Parents: One high chair available. There are books and games available in a book case near the register. This is a tiny walk away from Kids Play, so super nice to run out for lunch and then come back.

EV drivers: No charger nearby.

My girl and I stopped in for lunch. We both got the chicken salad with walnuts and crasins on spinach wraps. They were delicious and filling. I like the choice between chips or carrots and hummus. Food was definitely worth coming back for!

Delightful family-owned restaurant with amazing sandwiches and salads. We opted for carrots and hummus rather than chips and it went great with a turkey, bacon, and smoked gouda wrap with chipotle sauce. They make their own chocolate covered treats and they serve ice cream. A perfect place for a quick bite to eat before heading to the Warner Theater for a show!

You can’t go wrong with the Butternut Squash & loaded baked potato!! Although, all of their food is delicious! Staff is always friendly and welcoming!

Cute and friendly local cafe spot with soups, sandwiches, coffee and more! We stopped for a quick break during a roadtrip and picked up some warm hot cocoa. Wonderfully friendly service :)

Everytime I have ate at Café 38; formerly S&S Sweet Treats I have never ever been disappointed. Amazing customer service, everything served with care & laughter. The food is sooo delicious, especially the Clam Chowder in a bread bowl and coconut ice cream milk shakes!!!!! I will continue to frequent this lovely little shop when my time is free.

I absolutely love cafe 38 its a cute place, their iced coffee is good, the food is good and lots of options to pick from at a good price, the staff is very welcoming, I highly recommend going there, it's my new go to place, thank you cafe 38 keep up being a great place to go🙂😌

First time here today and it will not be my last! Wonderful atmosphere, lovely people and delicious food right in the heart of Torrington! Ask for Jade she sure to make your experience enjoyable!

Its a nice cozy place with great people and the service is very good the food is outstanding they have a good variety of ice cream and they serve smoothies wich is awesome and the price is very good one of the best things that i personally love is the chili it is very good. Overall i give this place two thumbs up.

My mom and work downtown and cafe 38 is go to lunch spot, they’re food is not only delicious but incredibly affordable! A spot we always recommend to people visiting downtown looking for a quick bite!!
