Tony's Coffee Express

Great baked goods (especially bagels), good coffee flavor selection. The coffee isn't always hot enough, though, and gloves aren't always worn when preparing food...a necessity at any time, but especially during flu season. Some of the staff could stand to be a bit friendlier, too, but overall, I enjoy this shop.

AWESOME place.

Always quick service, some of the highest quality coffee I've ever had, fair prices too. Great variety of bagels and pastries. Easy to park, easy to pull out, right next to the highway.

Also, these guys stay open pretty late for a coffee place which is awesome as well. Love y'all.

Was recommended this place so my boyfriend and I gave it a shot as we were looking to go somewhere for coffee and donuts. Jen was fantastic helping us since it was our first time there! Food was amazing (had a bagel with veggie cream cheese and donut) and hands down the best cup of coffee I've ever had. My boyfriend and I will be stopping here for our coffee needs from now on : )

We stopped by this shop quick for some coffee before a road trip. We did not have any food so I cannot comment on their menu.

First, the shop itself is a small space but there is plenty of room if you wanted to stay for a but. Definitely not a Starbucks where you would write a book but it definitely was adequate.

The staff was nice enough even though they were a bit quiet. It was hard to tell if we were up in line as there was an awkward silence before our order. But honestly, the service was good for getting our coffee. We definitely did not need anything over the top.

The location is a bit tough as it is easy to pass without realizing where the shop is. But parking is plentiful.

So if everything was good, why the 3 stars? Well in my personal opinion the coffee was just very disappointing. We hear so many rave reviews about the quality and flavor of the coffee but it ended up being just regular coffee from a coffee maker. The flavor was a bit weak and watery for my taste. The iced coffee was also pretty watery. The flavors were present but there was not really a coffee flavor in the way I was hoping for the price I was paying.

Overall, if you do not care about a strong coffee flavor and want something sweet and light, then you may enjoy it more. It just was not for me.

Tony's coffee Express is a really busy place... So if you're in a rush this might not be a good morning stop. The staff was friendly and polite and the service was good considering how busy they were. I got a breakfast sandwich here on a bagel and it was awesome. I didn't get coffee here but I'm told it's very good. If you're in the thomaston area and you have a few minutes this is a great place to stop.

Small hole in the wall breakfast spot. There's a bakery case, counter and a few booths. My kids loved the muffins and donuts, my breakfast sandwich was excellent and the selection of flavored iced coffees was a very pleasant surprise. The baked goods were freshly made from scratch, not the stuff that comes frozen in a box that the coffee chains sell. The staff was amazingly fast but still very friendly. The young man who helped us even gave my kids their treats in their own seperate bags. That made their day. They offer a call ahead option if you're in a hurry. I suggest using it if you need to because the line was out the door. It was well worth the wait and I will definitely be coming back.

Oh my gosh this is my favorite place to go now that I live somewhat closer to it. Their banana chocolate coffee is to die for. Never too sweet. It’s always fresh and perfect. The one gripe I have about this place is the people who work there sometimes don’t acknowledge the customer, and they continue to have their own personal conversations amongst themselves while you’re standing there trying to order. They’re all pretty young, and I get it- they seem to be having a great time- I’m all about loving where you work! But maybe should acknowledge the customer first instead of ignoring them.

Excellent service. The coffee is fresh, clean tasting, and very reasonably priced! Amazing Amy's bagels with gourmet cream cheeses (try the scallion, delicious! ) Donuts, eclairs, canolli's, breakfast sandwiches, is all super affordable and super yummy! Stop in, if there's a long line don't fret it's totally worth the wait!!

This might be my favorite place in Thomaston everything is fantastic! They have great coffee with lots of interest flavor options. The bagels are amazing, especially with gourmet cream cheese, and the pastries are high-quality and delicious!
