Ok park off street and short walk with shops all along main street. Queen B easy to find with pleasant black letter sign. Tables and chairs out on walk and seating inside downstairs. Order in back and pick up drinks near front door. Ordered a honey pistachio hot late. Delicious. The pistachios came through the cinnamon and the.honey gave a light sweetness. This is a must stop. It’s a good grind. And a good find.
Great new small coffee shop here in Ridgefield. It is their opening weekend and already they are establishing themselves as a nice addition to Main St.
Well, we were driving through Ridgefield, CT on Main Street and noticed that there was a new coffee shop that we have not seen before. It was located near that one store that has all the candy, which name I can't remember. (But that's a good place to check out as well.)
Anyhow, it is called the Queen B Coffee Company and first impression was that it was a very narrow and small store. There were two very friendly Baristas up front with a very impressive amount of complex machinery at their disposal, including bean grinders and coffee presses.
Towards the back of the store was a counter where you actually place your orders, along with an array of assorted pastries, bagels and other baked goods. You could also order eggs to have on your bagels if you wanted to. We placed our coffee orders there and went back to the front to get our drinks. Again, a very narrow space with most of the tables outside facing Main Street. We were starting to wonder where we would sit to drink our coffee as it was cold outside.
However, we noticed a staircase and proceeded to go down it. At the bottom, it opened up into quite a large space with more than an ample amount of tables to sit at, as well as couches and even an electric fireplace to sit by. There was also a spotless rest room, an outside deck in the back with additional outside tables and a couple of chalkboards on the walls. If I had some chalk, I definitely would have written on it (it would have been in good taste).
We were quite impressed with the layout and the amount of space once we got downstairs. Very nice atmosphere. The coffee itself was very good and we highly recommend others to make a stop there. Next time we go, we will probably try out one of their bagels with some egg. Also, we might bring some books to read.
Highly recommended and wish for the long term success of this enterprise (just opened earlier this month).
Stopped by as we explored the shops in Ridgefield and found a delicious speciality latte to add a little caffeine to my day! Cute new spot with extra seating downstairs and a friendly staff.
Super friendly environment. Absolutely the best chicken salad ever (not just great coffee!) and so fun for my daughter to be able to get a rainbow bagel! So happy they are part of our town now.
The owners & workers are so kind & talented! The barista knows how to make a great coffee/tea, too. Love the atmosphere, the music & the general vibe. Will definitely come back! Great place to do computer work or catch up with friends. Food was delicious.
Really good coffee and one of the best lattes I’ve had from a coffee shop in a while and the staff is lovely! I even called my order in a little bit before as I have a long commute and they were very accommodating. Thank you!
this is an extraordinary place belied by a narrow entrance. there is a huge event space downstairs. The owner told me they will even be hosting music events. They were also a couple counters inside I’m excited for what this place is gearing up to offer. They even have a few vegan options already and told me more will be coming soon.
What a charming lovely spot!! Loved visiting queen B and upon a neighbors recommendation tried the carrot cake which was exceptional! The space is so perfect. A very welcome addition to Ridgefield!
