I enjoyed my lunch at Sawdust today. The bagel was warm and delicious, and the cream cheese was amazing. The BLT was cooked well and a good size. I hope to get a huge cinnamon role next time I come in. The cucumber watermelon refresher was good, however the guava passion fruit smoothie is watery and not great. The interior is very cute and the prices are great for a small business. Highly recommend.

I come here all the time to sit and draw both inside on the couches or outside on the bistro chairs. So far I’ve had the BLT and Avocado Toast, the ice coffee and a few cocktails all were perfect. One Friday night I came to listen to acoustic music and met a new Frend. Great place to socialize.

Extremely kind staff and delicious lunch and coffee. Was never impressed with Victoria Station. Happy to say Sawdust was the coffee shop I always hoped would move into this location. Will be back for sure !

I was a HUGE fan of Victoria Station Cafe and religiously went to that shop for years. When they closed I was very upset that I would no longer be able to experience the atmosphere there and the eclectic charm the building had. I was happily surprised when Saw Dust took it over and remodeled! While still keeping the old world charm of Victoria Station, saw dust has made this once dull coffee shop into a great spot for night life as well! They were finally able to do something with the bar since they obtained a liquor license and turned a once coffee only shop into a espresso martini lovers delight. I was also happily surprised by the quality of the food and beverages here. The food is better than the previous establishments and the drinks are crafted with love. Although I miss Victoria's cannolis, there are many wonderful and delightful pastries to chose from here. Yum! The owner is also a wholesome real person who will talk to you like you matter to him! Great work here guys. 👏

Saw dust Coffee House & Dessert Bar, Putnam has a beautiful 50 person capacity upstairs room. I rented it for my daughters bridal shower and couldn't have been happier. Pete was easy to work with and had wonderful suggestions for the brunch. Brook, Trisha, and Heather did an outstanding job during the shower. Those ladies worked so hard running around to take care of anything we asked for and couldn't have been more pleasant. Everything from the mimosas, muffins, quiches, scones, potatoes, and yogurt parfaits was delicious. Our guests loved their made to order coffee drinks and the delicious Espresso and Salted Caramel martinis. I would highly recommend Saw Dust Coffee House and Dessert Bar for your event.

I usually work at Saw Dust on weekdays as I work from home and sometimes need to go out to change scenery. A few weird things have happened here as I think about what happened. The first incident was bringing my own water bottle (hydro peek) and an employee asking me to put it away as they do not allow it and explaining that they have water there for customers. I smiled and apologized and told them it wouldn’t happen again. After this, I saw multiple customers bring their own water bottles on different days without anyone enforcing the “rule.” This has happened on multiple occasions. NOTE: I WAS 5 MONTHS PREGNANT AND NEEDED TO STAY HYDRATED.
Today’s incident was my last straw, and I will NEVER be back there. I am currently 8 MONTHS PREGNANT. I got there, ordered, and noticed it was busy. I sat on a couch and waited 30 minutes for a table to open. A lovely family came over to me and told me that I could have their table as they saw me using my laptop on my lap. I thank them and move my stuff over (mind you, no smaller tables are open now). After sitting there for 30 minutes, an employee approached me and asked me to move as a family of 4 just came in and had nowhere to sit. I looked around, and the table next to me just sat down with a party of 2 (I get it, they just got there); then I looked across the way, and there was also another single person sitting at a four-person table which has been there before I even got to Saw Dust. REMIND YOU; I waited 30 minutes for a seat; other singles at a four-person table had been there hours before me, and I am 8 months pregnant. Saw Dust; you’ve made me feel like an outsider in an already white demographic area. I was so upset to be treated in such a manner that I left.

Best espresso martinis in the area- hands down! Not one of those overly creamy ones that will hurt your stomach. These martinis are real espresso and sooo yummy. They have a great IPA selection as well. We tried a couple of their flatbreads too on a Saturday night while enjoying live music. One of my new fav places!

Food is decent but no prices on the menu. You'll be surprised when you get there to find out your total is way more than you'd reasonably expect. I think people should at least be aware they're going to get gauged at the register before they place the order. Deceptive and shady if you ask me. Advertise your prices.

Paid $6 for a brownie, it was incredibly dry and tasteless. I've been here a few times and never had a baked good that tasted good. Bummed to lose the great bakery that used to be here.

We miss Victoria... seems like noseys got out of joint over the mask thing but then they had problems getting good help and even a good chef?
Anyways... desserts are good, not overpriced and I enjoyed my cappuccino.
I LOVE that they have live music sat. and Sunday's... will return when in town.
Music is a tad too loud... they need shades on the windows when the sun gets to 3:00.. elsewise no complaints.
