I just started coming here, and I can definitely say I love it! I'm always looking for the best espresso and this place has it. The staff was very helpful my first couple times going as I dont order from a real coffee shop that much. The coffee itself is nothing like anywhere else. Its definitely a hidden gem in Putnam, CT.

Ben's is consistently a great stop for an excellent coffee. The barista here is incredibly knowledgeable and loves his craft. But don't worry about coming in here and feeling out of place if you just want a black coffee. Everyone here is friendly to a fault.

My wife and I popped in on a Friday late morning. The barista was very helpful and friendly. There were a few customers on their laptops. The coffee was exceptional, probably the best I have ever tasted. My wife had a hot and I had an iced decaf latte with almond milk and stevia.

I had high expectations but it was very disappointing. I could tell the coffee quality was decent but I ordered a dirty chai with almond milk. Very watery. Not because of the almond milk ( because I’ve gotten the same order at multiple different locations and it was very good) . The only thing that made up for it was the scone I had. Make your drinks better ! No hard feelings just honest feedback

Absolutely incredible. They make REAL coffee and REAL espresso. They offer unique flavor combinations that have all been delicious.
The staff actually knows what they are talking about and can always steer you in the right direction if you aren't sure exactly what you'd like.

Adorable little place. Service has been okay but not anything super warm or friendly the two times I've been in. In-house made coffee and beans that I bought to use at home have tasted ok, but not amazing. I wonder if I'm missing something? I still will stop sometimes.

Out of everywhere I have gotten coffee in RI, MA, and CT. Ben's beans has been the best. Quality and service wise. Wish they would open a location closer to eastern MA!

It's hard to choke down regular coffee, i.e., McDonald's coffee, dunking donuts coffee, Starbucks coffee, really any store brand coffee after you drink the delicious coffee they sell there. It comes either in a bean, or grounded, which they do there for you. This was especially great since I don't have any way to grind my own coffee. The store is very small, but cozy, and can sit around 20 at maximum capacity, and is a great place to bring your friend, or your spouse when they are open. I would reccoment this to anyone who is looking for a awesome bean they can take home!
