I'm so happy to have found Chubby Dog Coffee Co.! I've always got my eye out for a great coffee shop and Chubby's fits the bill. I love the creativity of the drinks here. I would never have put orange in a latte but it works! The Floridian, the Toasted Marshmallow Lavender and the Almond Joy lattes were all excellent...that Almond Joy is magic🤩 The woman that ran the counter was extremely nice (and busy! Memorial Day crowd). The inside of the shop is fun, dog themed and they're definitely Star Wars fans as well. The shop has a gaming room next door for extra seating and hangout space, which is nice. I love the coffee roaster in the back of the shop. They are so cool looking. This is one more great reason to visit Putnam!

I love coming here for delicious and truly fresh roasted coffee. The atmosphere is so cool with old school games and sci paraphernalia all around. You will find the owner and staff super friendly and helpful. I love it that they have some late night openings to enjoy an evening drink (be sure to check out nerd night). And If your looking for top quality fresh roasted take home beans, this is the place !

I just had an awesome birthday, thanks to Chubby Dog! I asked to rent out the back gaming room for a last minute party, and Adam was awesome! They offer a huge assortment of retro video games, board games, and card games to play. Chubby Dog roasts their own beans, and their coffee is scrumptious! I also highly recommend the flavored Redbull lemonades. This an awesome place to hang out with friends and family, definitely stop by if you're in the Putnam area!

I was so excited to come here for coffee but I was a bit dissapointed. I had asked for a shortbread cold brew with cold foam.. but I don’t really know what happened to the cold foam? And my husband got a health bar iced. Latte and it just tasted like pure espresso. The instagram photos looked much better. 😢

Cute coffee shop with many different flavors. The shop is located in a cute town with many different restaurants and shops. Definitely check this place out if you need a caffeine fix. We will totally be back again !

My friend and I met at the Chubby Dog and got the Smokin' Mocha Latte. They were really good! I have only been in a few times since the establishment changed from Ben's Beans. I love that the new operators kept a lot of the favorites from the previous menu, and added a lot more of their own. The quality of the ingredients and coffee is excellent here! The staff is always friendly and helpful. They answered my questions about the coffee roasting process, which they do on-site. Definitely will be going there again soon!

This place is perfect. REALLY good coffee, great selection of other refreshing drinks, super friendly and helpful staff, and a terrific atmosphere. HOWEVER, and don’t let this stop you from going, this Yoda action figure should NOT be holding a Lightsaber (this is an OT Yoda from when he was on Dagobah, and, even if he were to have a Lightsaber, it wouldn’t be that one, that is Qui-Gon Jinn’s Lightsaber).
Seriously, if you are in the area, stop by, the place is probably my favorite spot for coffee in all of Connecticut.

Small mom and pop shop which is awesome. The coffee is fantastic. Every employee I have come across was very knowledgeable about the products they use and sell. The hours are limited so be sure to plan accordingly. The prices are said to be high but I find them very much comparable to other shops and actually I consider them a better deal since the product is so much of a higher quality.

Checked this place out after visiting my lawyer's office next door. I had seen some of their enthusiastic videos on Facebook so was excited to get in here. Did not disappoint. I had no idea but it seems they have the biggest cookies on the planet, and they're delicious too. Also had a latte which was great, and there were juice boxes for the kids. Very nice place, totally recommended.
