The just plain old coffee was great. Kind of pricey for just coffee in a mug but, good.
The place is set up with a few more comfortable chairs in the front but, the back is clearly set up for people to sit and work. Plenty of WiFi a long work counter with individual lights and two long tables. Most people were working or studying. I would go back.
Good coffee, good brownie, great atmosphere! I ran into this place when I was visiting Yale and really liked it. I love the seating and the red walls. The windows let in plenty of sunlight too. I wish there was a similar place where I live.
Very nice, cozy coffee shop. Has a very "college town" vibe. If you come in here on a typical day you will see students, professors, and normal residents going about their lives, which is nice. A bit cramped, but not a problem. Has a nice outdoor area in the back, which is a little unkempt but still pleasant.
One of my favorite coffee shops, Koffee? has a wonderful aesthetic and is never over air-conditioned. It has outdoor tables for warm weather and lots of seating inside. It's always very busy and filled with people, but isn't too noisy. They always play different kinds of music and it's fun to see the different playlists.
I worked right down the street from Koffee for a while, going in a few times a week. The staff is always very friendly, the baked goods are always huge, fresh, and well-priced, and the coffee always tastes great! It's sometimes tough to find a place to sit, and it can be a bit hot inside in the summer, but it's a nice atmosphere for just relaxing most of the time. I always stop by whenever I'm in New Haven.
Nice people, a comfortable place. Several banquettes covered with tons of cushions to stretch out on. The comfy chairs do not have wide enough arms to put a mouse on if you are planning on using a laptop. There are plenty of tables counters and a zillion outlets. It's a little pricey as you might expect in the heart of New Haven. But not exceptionally so, certainly no worse than Starbucks.
Koffee? Is a unique & charming local coffee house that checks for off every box: Delish coffees of various kinds. I personally love skinny lattes. Cozy, casual, chairs & tables of all kinds. Fab pastries, fruit salads, small subs so you can grab & go, or enjoy at a leisurely pace. Interesting changing original artwork by locals. Polite, attentive staff. Been going there regularly since it first opened!
