This is a quirky coffee shop. The drinks are very tasty, especially the smooth and silky chocolate milk. The food is somewhat disappointing; the crackers in the cheese platter were completely soft.
My Dad really likes this place. The coffee is good and believe it or not for a coffee shop the food is really good. It reminds me of a Berkeley, CA type place.
Wonderful little niche spot for great coffee and a nice vibe. The workers are very nice and the inside is cozy and welcoming. Coffee is great, but the portion sizes are a tad small for the price which is the sole reason I cannot give Koffee? 5 stars.
My favorite coffee shop in New Haven! Converted to window-service only since the pandemic making it even more convenient and accessible. Baristas are super friendly and the coffee is strong. There's even a little artist park behind the shop that I find quite peaceful when you're in the mood to just sip and chill.
Went there based on google pics, was expecting cozy and friendly coffee shop. It is more for students, very progressive msgs everywhere(good for them, but not what I was looking for). Place is not cozy at all, it was cold inside , choice of pastry was not great. The ones they had, were looking tired and not presentable. Place has a great potential but it is not used even for 30%, most definitely needs some makeover. Good selection of cofee drinks. We got Mocha and Americano, no complaints here. I compare to coffee shops in New York and , sorry, but it is very different standart. But may be thats their thing?? Coffee was good, but very little chance we come back here to sit and chat
This is now my favorite coffee shop in all of Connecticut. We tested out a new smoothie drink called "Monkey Mocha" which is espresso, banana, and chocolate with milk. It was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was super cozy and felt like a place I'd been a thousand times before even on my first visit. The staff is so, so friendly and helpful.
We loved this place. Even having an adult ambiance we all had a great time, they have table games that we actually used with the children and had a good time. The boys had hot cocoa, I had a cortado and wife had tea, all of them really well served and delicious. The cocoa wasn't as sweet and had a great thick texture. Good place to spent time either alone or not. Will Be Back.
I’ve been visiting Koffee almost daily for two years. I don’t simply come back for the great tasting, always perfectly brewed coffee, but I stop here because everyone is so friendly. I’m not saying places I go to are rude or anything like that, but it great to walk up to someone and get a real hello or good morning, with some small talk versus “what can I get you”. Other stuff I love is the variety of drinks, the prices, and the location. All in all a great spot to grab a cup to go or chill.
The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. I was very excited when I first came here because I could tell it was 2nd wave which is my personal preference for coffee (and the presentation/aesthetic that goes with it). This is an ok location for that style of coffee roasting/preparation.
