The food was great and the smoothie was amazing , however I was just concerned because a older lady came to me twice asking me about another order saying ingredients were finished and if I could choose substitutes. Very confusing setup and I was hoping my order would be accurate after these two encounter. The Process after the order is taken need to be streamlined to not mess up other people’s order cause this could easily be the case for mine.

I was visiting New Haven by myself for the day and decided to stop in. The owner was SO KIND! The food was delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough! I would give it 1,000,000 stars if I could.

I stopped in right before closing and the staff were so nice. They made a grilled cheese for my daughter despite being ready to close. The staff were all so friendly, food was delicious, and the cafe has a cute atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

One of the best egg sandwiches I’ve ever had! The cafe is warm and welcoming and everyone who works there is great! Highly recommend.

It saddens me to write this review since I’ve been here a couple of times and have had amazing service normally this would be a 5 star review for me but my experience with the food today has me very upset.
I bought a bacon egg and cheese as well as a hot chocolate.
1. I never asked for pepper yet there seems to be a whole ton of pepper on my sandwich and the bacon wasn’t cooked enough in my opinion, But my concern is more with the pepper. Last time I came it was the same thing but because I don’t come here often, so I forgot that they automatically add pepper. It ruined the whole sandwich and did finish it so that was a waste of my money and time. I could have went elsewhere but I decided to come here bc of their great service and quality of food.
2. My hot chocolate was piping hot. I had to drive to Westport for work and after 40 min it still wasn’t cooled down.
I really didn’t get to enjoy my breakfast how I planned to do it was very frustrating.
I guess my point in writing this review is to suggest the obvious. Can you please make it a custom to ask if customers want pepper? Also, try to not make the hot drinks so piping hot where you can’t have it for another hour. And this is with me blowing it to cool it down too. Sorry if I sound rude in this review but this bothered me too much for me to not say anything.

This is a great place to work and a less crowded option then further downtown if you hit it at the right time of day. From yoga balls, to a long bar, plush comfy chairs, and plenty of tables and seating options available. Also of note: plugs for computers/phones. Appropriate for a client meeting, a casual date, or some quiet reading.
The food options are healthy and tasty. The smoothies and juices are also of high quality and worth every penny.
Hard working, thoughtful and cheerful people own and work at this place and you feel welcome when you walk in. Don't forget to leave a note on their community chalkboard before you leave!

Super friendly, helped explain vegan and allergy friendly options. There were not a ton of these but I'm just glad they take it seriously. Good coffee and biscotti.

We were in the area of this establishment and was recommended this place to get a quick bite. I ordered the Belgium waffle with fruits. It came with strawberries and banana. The fruits were nice and fresh. My friend ordered the grilled chicken avocado salad. The mango's on the salad were very fresh also ( I helped myself to one). The salad came out right away but there was quite a wait for the waffle.
The cafe has a nice and cozy feel. Looks like a nice place to come and get some work done. Most people had their laptops out. They have high chair tables and they also have an exercise balls chair. They do heed warning to "sit at your own risk".
The only thing that I didn't like was that I ordered an Iced Chai Latte. There was too much ice in mine. I couldn't taste the chai at all. It was too watery.
