I found an awesome little Cafe while strolling through Litchfield. There were so many different varietiy cakes, it was alot to take in. But this is a good thing! While I was there I had a Philly Cheesesteak Bun. It was a perfect size treat of a traditional Philly favorite. Coming from the Philly area, this was very nostalgic and novel, at the same time. Thank You for that. I digress, so about the cakes. I took some to go. As soon as I got home, I could not wait to dive into the Chocolate Spoon Cake. It was like Heaven in your mouth (if Heaven had a taste, this probably comes close). It was moist chocolate cake with a chocolate mousse layer inside, at least I think it's mousse. It was soft and not overly sweet. The mousse covered the outside of the cake as well with shaved chocolates. It was topped with a striped roll of shaved chocolate and white chocolate. I don't think the picture or the description do it justice. You have to try it to believe me. I also bought a Rocky Road Brownie square, which will be tomorrow's treat...and 2 more of the Philly Cheesesteak Buns! I recommend this quaint little Cafe, but if you don't want to take my word...go there and you will know what I mean. There are a lot more this little gem offers and I have not even scratched the surface.
Have never been disappointed over three visits with the quality of the pastries and the delicious coffee and cappuccino. Best place in town for a wonderful treat!! The owners are personable and it is a fun experience to visit the attractive store. Great addition to Litchfield. The other coffee shops will have to up their game, Only negative is that they don't open until noon so the morning breakfast crowd will be disappointed.
Wow, I got to try this place today finally, the coffee I got was hot, had the perfect amount of caramel, and the lady and gentleman behind the counter are extremely kind.
I would have given 5 stars, but as a working man I get up early and work all day and have to suffer through the synthetic sludge Dunkin calls a coffee in the morning, it would be amazing if this place could open early a couple days a week so myself and men and women like me could enjoy a well made cup o’ joe on their way to work.
Really good coffee and fun interesting desserts but I so wish this place would be open during that 6am-8am window of the week when my boyfriend and I need coffee on our way to work. This place is so much nicer than Dunkin and I really would like to switch to only getting Espresso 59 coffee in the morning. The location is right on the way to my job so it’s perfect except they’re not open at the times of the day I would like to buy coffee
LOVED the masala chai! I tried this place on a whim, while in town for an appointment, and I'm glad I did. Two very lovely ladies at the front that helped explain the tea to me. Really really delicious, and the banana nut muffin was wonderful too! Thank you!
Enjoyed the cold brew and spinach bun that I had. It’s a nice comfortable place, and the people working there were really friendly. Look forward to going back next time I’m in Litchfield!

Today was the 1st day we went into espresso 59. We had a pistachio cream filled cake that was absolutely divine. Can't wait to go back!
