Las Animas Grill

I am giving 3 stars and please let me explain. The service was so pleasant; however the meals we chose were not. My husband ordered a patty melt and it was not a tasty at all. I had the turkey/bacon/lettuce sandwich and it tasted as if it were freezer burnt. It also had “chewies” like the chef did not slice off the fatty parts of the turkey. I am always looking for the positive, but I would not recommend this restaurant :(

Bar and grill that’s a step above. Lots of bottled/canned beers choices and a curated short list of of craft beers on tap. Large portions and friendly service. Atmosphere was welcoming and clean. Clearly a location where a person could become a regular with ease.

Nice place to eat, the fries are just ok.

Coffees always on point. Breakfast did not disappoint either. Place is too cute, we will be back!

I swear these cooks are smoking crack. I ordered a medium steak and it came out raw and cold in the middle, like it wasn’t done being thawed. Management was nice to take it back and get it redone but the second steak came out well done and burnt.

Usually really good. Today 7/13 potatoes were dry and flavorless . I had tavern burger my friend had breakfast quesdilla w/potatoes also dry. Burger was very small I wish I could load the pic . Burger tasted good. Quesadilla was very good The Burger meat was very tasty just maybe 2 ½ in radius. So very small. Not satisfied today. Usually pretty good.

Customer service is good, plates very empty for the price but good flavor.

Second Visit. Menu is limited for breakfast... Not the same as I saw online. Cute place. Food was hot and decent. Wait staff could check in on you a bit more. Needed some extra butter and a coffee refill. I was the only customer in the place. 1 customer to 4 employees. Might try somewhere else next time.

Free WiFi and they have a small section where you can seat in a couch and use your laptop. The breakfast food was decent and the servers were nice
