It was okay.
The staff was nice. I loved the look of the place. The graffiti type art along the walls towards the bathrooms was very cool.
I was not impressed with my food. It wasn't flavorful. I had steak and eggs and my steak was a bit more rare than I would have liked. I ordered medium. I felt sick the remainder of the day. I'm not sure I will be returning.

Great selection of tacos and burgers. The menu is much larger than I was able to find online. Jay, the owner/bartender, is a good guy and kept the bar lively while I was waiting for our order. Trinidad has an issue with local restaurants being closed on odd days but las Animas is open 7 days a week.

Horrible service. Place was half empty and the waitress turned away twenty plus customers with excuses like there’s no silverware, or were not taking customers right now. Food was marginal.

We stopped here for a few mixed drinks and an appetizer. It has a very cozy feel inside and nice low lighting at the bar area. Inviting staff when you enter and their bartenders make tasty drinks! Recommend stopping by!

Pretty good place to grab a quick drink or bite to eat. It's got a feel good neighborhood vibe to the place as well.

Great food and friendly service. The young man bussing tables was my favorite. The wings were huge!!

If flexibility, kindness and killer bartending skills are what you are looking for… Aubrey and Camela (apologies if I butchered the spelling ladies) and this restaurant are worth the visit! Be prepared to be patient because the space is a bit small and the support personnel is limited but this is one we would come back to every time we are in town!!! Thank you ladies for the hospitality, the phenomenal drinks and the great food… we will definitely be back!!!!

Food was amazing and service was top notch!! This is a hidden gem on main Street that shouldn't be passed up!

We stopped in for a snack after hiking around town and they were very accommodating. We had the truffle fries and diablo shrimp- the portions were generous and the food was delicious. Next time we visit Trinidad we will definitely return. Thank you! Service dogs are welcome.

Very quaint little restaurant with excellent food. Try the pumpkin soup. Absolutely delicious! Our waitress was so nice and we even got a visit from the chef!
