Miner burger was great! Had bbq sauce, cheddar cheese, onions. Owner is super friendly. Great margarita. Pricey side. Also a bed and breakfast.

Cute place in an older building in downtown Trinidad. I've always enjoyed the food here, although if you're not a meat eater you don't have a lot of choices. Breakfast is served until noon, so if you're there early it broadens the selection. I had a salad, which was very good, and my companion had a burger with fries, and she said they were both delicious. Server was attentive and friendly.

Food took longer than normal but it was tasty. Service was great. We loved the historical photos.

Ordered two byo burgers and a kids cheeseburger. The byo burgers were ok. Really nothing spectacular. One of them was supposed to be medium well and it was well done. They were both supposed to have cheese and one was missing the cheese. The kids burger is what surprised me the most. It came on hard, toasted French bread while the other burgers came on buns. Needless to say, my 8 yo didn't touch it and it was a total waste.

My wife and daughters enjoyed the sandwiches they bought and I loved the fries but the wrap I bought disagreed with me. Pretty decent local place if you are shopping Trinidad's greener establishments.

Fantastic food, artfully prepared, attentive and friendly staff. I was in Trinidad for only two meals and enjoyed both at Las Animas.

I normally don't give a 1 star, but our experience there was terrible. The waitress was unfriendly; never checked on us. I ordered a steak medium. It came back well done. The mashed potatoes were charcoal black. I couldn't eat them. My husband's meal had no flavor. We won't go there again!

Very nice people, excellent service. Very nice place, has a good atmosphere, and is clean. The food was absolutely delicious. I hope to go back when I'm in town.

Jay and Camela, the owners, do an excellent job with their food and service. The decor is rustic and full of historical pictures not to mention ther building itself. I Love their burger but we also love their breakfast food as well. They have excellent coffe and even have a small coffee bar including expresso.
Service is always great and you will be sure to enjoy the food and atmosphere.
My wife and I strongly recommend this lovely resturant and can assure you will be pleased with your meal.

Placed a to go order, was told 10-15 minute wait, showed up and they had us sit for an hour while they went to the grocery store for supplies for our order. Horrendous service, horrendous wait time. All for two dry burgers. Save your money and time and find somewhere else to dine. Would give zero if possible.
