Really enjoyed the food here. Service was top notch and found staff to be very friendly. The cheeseburger was juicy with great flavor. Definitely good quality meat. The bun was fantastic. Burger definitely could have used more sauce, but it's whatever. The cheese curds I give a 5 star. Very rarely do I give any fried cheese five stars. If you have ever seen my reviews before you would know that I always order mozzarella sticks or cheese curds. The breading on these were absolutely perfect, the cheese was fantastic and the sauce is the best dipping sauce to date. If I'm back in Telluride will definitely be stopping here, if not for sandwich definitely for the cheese curds!

Great breakfast/lunch spot in the center of telluride. Lots of indoor and outdoor (dog friendly) seating, food was tasty, several vegan and vegetarian options. Ordered the hash bowl and the mushroom sandwich and both were super tasty. Also has good cocktails

Wow. We have a friend who lives in town that recommended The Butcher & The Baker for desserts and my goodness was everything excellent. From the warm welcomes, to the stories behind each item; and finally the quality of every bite left such an exceptional memory to book end our trip.
And so agree with all of the tips, one of everything! We took a ton of yummy food home.

Delicious! Had tuna salad sandwich, croissant, latte. Great quality! Place is well decorated inside and has outdoor seating.

Got there just before opening for Sunday brunch. Had time to peruse the menu and finally settled on the Oyster mushroom muffin. With sausage egg caramelized onions kale...good choice. Needed 2 hands AND a fork.
Nice sitting area outside and Kaleigh was a prompt and efficient server.

I can not say enough about this amazing little place on the main strip. The staff are genuinely happy people, thank his place employs a lot of young people and treat them really well first off all. Aside from the amazing staff, the food is mostly locally sourced from locals. The spice chai is actually spicy (chai lovers will understand this comment). The out door seating is accommodating with a nice umbrella for rain or shade. Stop in to The Butcher and the Baker, best place in town from my experience. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Local Coffee Shop with affordable price. Pastry are good, Ham and cheese croissant is highly recommended. Long lines during breakfast.

The food was very good! I enjoyed the quality with regards to the price.
It was one of thr only places open around 8am so it was very busy! The girl that helped me, you could tell was stressed. But it was a good place and I would for sure go back next time I'm in town!

The ham and swiss croissant was top notch. The chai was good. I'm taking a couple of stars off because the cookie I had was terrible. It tasted stale, but what really bothered me was the poor hygiene. One of the staff members attending the cash register was leaning her face and mouth on her hands, which were visibly dirty and then unwrapping straws and putting them in customer's drinks. Probably, the staff members dealing with money and the public should not be the ones unwrapping straws. And really... no need to do it at all. Just let the customers do it on their own.
