What an experience!! Delicious chicken and waffles oversized portions are sure to please anyone. The staff is respectful attentive and the dining room was clean. The flavors were just right in the biscuits and gravy. A must try!

Stopped on our way through CO , chose J & L Cafe based on reviews. It was very good overall-- my cheeseburger was a bit dry and overdone.....but the others in our group really liked their food. (Patty Melts and hot roast beef dinner) Extensive menu selections. The place was packed with locals so that is saying something for the consistent quality of the food.😉 Would go again when in the area.

Went to visit a friend in Sterling Colorado,he took us here for breakfast,the food was delicious and plentiful,we liked it so much that we went back for dinner,we left the next morning, we are looking forward to going back again,oh yeah,the service was great also.

What a gem! Stopped by randomly while driving through. I can't begin to explain how nice it was to discover this secret cave of a diner (Skyrim +50XP). Clean when you walk in, fast service, and extremely nice people. What else can you say or ask for? This is the type of place that will make you wish you were Samwise Gamgee so you can find your way back for 2nd breakfast! A+

Stopped here for a quick dinner on a road trip. Excellent service! We got our table and food quickly. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Would recommend for anyone going thru Sterling!

As a former Kitchen Manager. Homemade from scratch. Chicken fried steak was real steak tenderized then breaded and cooked in butter or margarine. Best ever and that's my go too! Eggs spot on pancakes and waffles oh WOW!!! everything was great first and many more visits yet to come.

Good service, and simple but really delicious food. The ingredients are fresh, the food freshly prepared, and the potato salad is one of the best I’ve ever had.

This place is a keeper for sure. Great food and friendly staff and clientele. Classic Midwestern American diner. Don't miss this place for a great meal!

The food is good, the service is great and all in all a fantastic stop. We loved the fried green beans and the honey mustard chicken salad.
