This is usually one of my favorite places in town. Especially for their wonderful chicken salad croissant; however the last two iced mochas I have gotten there, were. . .chunky and chewy???
The young ladies working, were verbally short, and abrasive. Not the friendliness we're accustomed to here.
Sad.
Hopefully the new year will bring better changes and a good flow.🙂

First time the service was cold and borderline nonexistent. Figured we maybe got them on an off day. Second time we arrived 20 minutes before close and were told to leave because they were already closing up shop. It wouldn’t had been a problem had they said it politely, but instead it was given with a rude tone, just like the first visit. Will not return to this location. There’s better service and better drinks nearby.

Good coffee and a nice inside seating area. But don't expect to come in the late afternoon and get an espresso; it's hit or miss whether or not they have already shut down the espresso machine for the day.

Very busy, quite stuffy and warm inside. Twice I've been here, I had the iced coffee, which is good. Always a lot of people in here, and it's a tight fit inside. There doesn't seem to be air conditioning because it's always so warm inside during the summer. Wi-Fi here is slow, and often unusable. I stopped coming here for that reason alone.

One of the highlights from our trip passing through Salida for sure! We were in the shop for a couple of hours writing postcards and relaxing a bit, and it was the perfect spot to do just that. The staff was lighthearted and made very delicious coffee! If you ever find yourself in Salida, make sure this quaint coffee shop is on your list! Be careful, though, you could find you like it so much that hours pass by and you hardly notice! It's that kind of atmosphere!!

Coffee here is pretty good and the quiche dishes are quite tastey! Losing 2 stars for rude cashier. For such a small town with repeat customers who are good tippers, the staff could learn a thing or two about being friendly to their customers.

I have rated five stars because of the barista named Alissa, in the Salida location. I loved the energy and passion she released during my visit. She made the best coffee I’ve had in years, and she was so polite. When I wasn’t sure what I wanted she pitched the white mocha and I was sold on her detail. I came in the next day and was sad to not see her present. I hope during my next visit she will be behind the counter.

Be sure to get yourself one of their Kona Mochas. It's a blended frappuccino explosion that is smooth and delicious!

I was also impressed with the SINGLE barista's ability to service 10+ individuals extremely quickly. She was also nice and patient as me and my family decided on what to order.

This coffee shop is pretty straightforward. The coffee was well prepared, reasonably priced, and the wifi was strong, easily reached on foot in the very walk-able downtown. Four stars instead of five because the barista was flat out rude.

Just passing through and this coffee shop saved us from yet another gas station cup of coffee! The coffee was great and I really loved the atmosphere. Wish we had more time to spend here and in the area.
