Always a nice stop if you're downtown for any reason. Good coffee, baked goods, usually a few good gluten free ones, clean bathrooms and kid friendly.

@BrownDog_Coffee Signs of 'dream' and 'hope' in the bathroom made me chortle out loud. Oh I dreamt.

I tried the iced Americano at the Buena Vista location and here. The large seemed medium.

The chorizo breakfast burrito was pricy and small. It did not satisfy my morning breakfast appetite. One of the cooks/baristas was very abrupt and loud, almost seemingly talking down to customers who asked her the most simple of questions. I could hear irritants in her voice.

I will not return to this location unless I am desperate for coffee. I was not impressed. Still, I recommend at least giving it a try to support local businesses. You'll be glad you did. Hopefully.

This location was vastly different than the Buena Vista location.

Weak coffee with little character. Room for cream is interpreted as only filling the cup 2/3 full. Quick service. Will not be returning...going to spend my money at Sacred Grounds.

Great atmosphere and a good cup of coffee! Customer service was great and I highly recommend you stop in and get a brew.

Quite possibly the worst coffee I've ever had. I ordered a 12 Oz mocha and the batista used previously steamed milk that he pulled out of the cooler. The milk was flat, the espresso tasted bitter and burnt, even through excessive sweetness, and it was underfilled. Instead of leaving the lid off of my drink he put it on and there was a dirty thumb print right where I would be drinking from. No handwashing between handling money and making drinks.

Great coffee and a great location. The friendly staff always makes us feel welcome. Nice atmosphere and really good coffee!

Usually a wonderful experience, and definitely excellent coffee, but until the auburn barista is either removed or quits, we will not return.

Granted, we were there about fifteen minutes prior to closing, on a holiday weekend, in a completely packed Salida, but we've not seen such lack of professionalism as was endured because of her, in quite some time.

Upon the stroke of six, this employee became giddy, remarking loudly that it was now her favorite part of the day, as she skipped over to close the door and put up the closed sign.

We were not the only other patrons present at this point either. There was another group present, who hastily gathered their things and ended up finishing their beverages and food on a bench outside. As well as another woman trying to exit at that moment who actually vocalized, "Ok, give me a chance to get out first", as she was being ushered out the door by the staff member.

We would have been even quicker to leave, but alas, in addition to needing the use of the restroom facilities, after spending $20 on various items, we had to remind the staff we were waiting on them for items not yet prepared.

It was obvious the two other women were not in support of this one and her manner, but neither did anything to remedy the discomfort of their patrons.

Brown Dog is good, but not worth it with someone working there as unpleasant as she. And no, no name. None of the staff have ID displayed.

So, in a word, eh hem, "rufff".

No thanks.

Brown Dog always great coffee and food. I love the croissant sandwiches and the quiche. The customer service is always good, too.

Great cherry pie & delicious plain coffee, we don't care for sweet coffee. Very nice clerks and cute quaint place. Ken & Glenda Good.

Was expecting more from the reviews. Quiche wasn't very good, nor was the coffee. Unimpressed...live in northern Colorado and this coffee shop could learn a few things from the coffee shops in Fort Collins, especially Starry Night.
