Rico Colorado's one and only Fireweed Cafe !
Locally owned and operated and staffed by charming locals with an excellent knowledge of the area.
Charismatic old time feeling location with state-of-the-art delicious healthy foods.
I highly recommend the turkey frittata although it will most likely be sold out if you get there after 9:00
I also had a very nice salad the next day and purchased a bag of dried mangoes that was the best I've ever had!
Puppy Parking outside by the side deck with tables.
Not to be missed.

What a wonderful cafe that we stumbled upon. The Forest Floor is the most incredible drink I have tasted. It was so good, that I made my boyfriend drive out of the way the following day to go back and get. Great vibes, great attention to detail by owners who so evidently are committed to their business. A must stop!

This little coffee shop and mercantile reminded me of a place my grandfather took me out on the dry side of Colorado when I was a kid. This little mercantile is truly a grocery store a great place to pick up odds and ends and has a nice selection of coffee drinks. I'm definitely not a vegan customer but they're vegan menu was even appealing. Be careful and be warned the chai is excellent but they do put cayenne pepper in it!

Thanks to their sandwich board, I found a good cappuccino and a delicious homemade burrito while passing through Rico. The owners are very nice and take care with their selections, which includes a variety of natural groceries and plant extracts they make themselves. Well worth a stop!

Cute place in Rico, CO. We ordered the turkey sandwich and the ham and cheese with two seltzer waters in cans. They have a nice shaded outdoor patio, and are dog friendly. The food was delicious, and counter staff was friendly, however, this place is WAY overpriced. The menu board stated each sandwich was $11. When we got the bill, they were $4 more, each! One of the seltzer waters cost $2, reasonable enough, but the other cost $5. You could purchase an entire 6pk for that price! Too bad. We'll definitely find a different lunch spot next time.

This shop is perfect. Make sure to stop if you're in the area-- kind staff, cozy atmosphere, and great food, pastries & coffee. Tried the pumpkin cookies and avocado toast while I was in, 10/10.

Very pricey for the amount you get. Two small sandwiches and a very small salad was $35. They charged $5 extra for 2 slices of gluten free bread. We sat ourselves and bussed our own table and the still asked for a tip.

A must-visit gem in Rico! Delicious coffee and locally-sourced breakfast and lunch food. Plenty of vegan options. This is a wonderful place to relax for 10 minutes or an hour while soaking up the warm, inviting atmosphere.

Perfect in every way! Beautiful, comfortable and exceptionally good food and coffee. Wonderful staff who are friendly and helpful. Rico is lucky to have Fireweed Cafe and we look forward to visiting again.

What a gem of a place to stumble upon. Really great, homey, down to earth, and all around good vibe. Natural tones and colors with a rustic feel, and with cute furry four legged friends. You can feel the love, care and intention the owners put into the place. Their menu is extensive, filled with wholesome, healthy elixirs and delicious balanced food. The paper (instead of plastic) coffee lids really stuck out to me as it’s not that common to see, and I also loved their sustainable bamboo straws they use. I ordered their Road to Hana smoothie which was phenomenal. I also tried their kale, celery, ginger, apple, lemon juice… wow so refreshing and detoxifying. Embarrassingly, I knocked down and shattered a mason jar vase from one of the tables, and the owner was super chill about it. I highly recommend this spot. Thank you again for all that you offer to your community.
