Main Street Cafe

Stopped here for some coffee. Ordered the creamy caramel which was really good! Also ordered the bacon breakfast sandwich which hit the spot. The lady working the front was alone, but she handled all the customers so well and was friendly. Will definitely stop the next time we drove thru.

Part of the problem here is that there are only two people running the place. The 1 waitress/hostess tried. The cook though should have gone a different direction in life. The food was less than mediocre. Bland. The store bought salsa was the best part of the breakfast burrito. Missed one meal out of three completely. Coffee was horrible. More cream than coffee. Probably will not be back

Food was edible, homestyle fare. Omelette was more of a scramble and a bit overdone but certainly worked for a midmorning fill-up. Try it.

The worst. It took over an hour to get the "Standard Breakfast" and when it arrived the eggs were runny, the hash browns were cold and soggy, the sausage patties were dry. The cafe was not busy and others that arrived after we had ordered got their food before we did. It is the only game in town, but I will never return. I will just keep driving to the next town. I was told they had a new cook (I believe the "new" part, but not the "cook" part).

Food is good. Service has plummeted in the last three weeks or more. Older blond lady has no clue. Actually put me on hold for a call in order and after 10 mins I decided to drive in to place my order. When I arrived I told her she could hang up the phone. She told me they could not get the phone to work. The whole time going into town I heard everything going on in the cafe. She never touched the phone. And when I arrived the place wasn't even half full that I could see (I was at the drive up). Dining in has been no different. Very slow to get service even with only three or four tables occupied. Haven't been able to get an espresso or latte because it takes so long to get them made and the black coffee is always empty lucky to get one refill on average. Nice people but the front needs some serious training.

Food was great, service was good. Only breakfast place in town. Has expresso & speciality coffee drinks. Also serves smoothies.

I wish I could say that it was good. We had to send my son's food back because they put peppers on it instead of spinach. The replacement had no spinach. Then, when I asked for a discount because of the mistake I was given attitude by the waitress and a dollar off. The food and coffee was good once right.
