Amazing coffee and hidden gem in Montrose. I would avoid getting the breakfast sandwiches, but the pastries and the coffee are perfect and worth the trip.

Great coffee, fast service. I wish they had a better selection of pastries but that's not a deal breaker. I'm there for the coffee. They do not have hot tea, only cold tea, which was a little odd but ohh well.

A gem of a brewery and coffee shop on Main Street. Drink menu has it all: beer, wine, soft drinks and coffee. A varied and YUMMERS choice of food and baked goods. Friendly staff who are all smiles let you know they’re glad you came. Totally delightful experience.

I typically don’t pickup coffee anywhere other than Starbucks. We travel often enough, that I can say most coffee shops are just “ok, at best.”
If you’re from out of town, do yourself a favor and skip the Starbucks and grab a real cup of coffee from San Juan Brews.
Love the atmosphere, and the great folks behind the bar are just awesome.
Why trust my review? My typical drink is black coffee. So I know what the coffee tastes like before adding all the syrups and flavoring most other get. Coffees roasted on site. Can’t get any fresher.
Enjoy, and you’re welcome 😉

Got an oat milk latte with an extra shot. A+. The espresso they use is top rate. Staff is friendly. You really get the impression they want you in there and they're thankful for your business.

Great atmosphere, awesome staff and the drinks are quite delicious. Definitely impressed with the place and will be coming back. I enjoyed the music and ample space to settle down wherever & enjoy your beverage of choice. Cozy enough for a cup of coffee but also the best spot to enjoy adult beverages with friends. And if that's not enough..THEY HAVE FOOD TRUCKS OUTSIDE!!!! The food was very very good. You need to check this place out for sure 👍

Sometimes I go to a place, and just feel that I have to give a review, because of how much I enjoyed my experience. I wish every town had a place Like San Juan Brews. My girlfriend and I stumbled into this place while walking around the farmers market in Montrose (we were passing through the town and are traveling full-time). The Cafe / Brewery was the perfect vibe. It had tons of space and enough room where you could feel comfortable pull up a laptop and working for several hours without getting bothered. As it got later in the day the energy picked up and it turned from cafe-vibe to brewery-vibe. They had large tables, places to sit, outlets, couches, and great coffee and coffee-based drinks. I didn't drink any beer while I was there, but was nearly tempted to based on the kindness and expertise of the staff. Both the owner and his wife welcomed us in and told us a bit about there business and what they had in store for the future. 5 stars for you guys.

I am very impressed with San Juan Brews. The owners greeted my husband and I right away and gave us a quick background of their business. Everyone working was extremely friendly. I had the fourteener coffee drink which was amazing. They recommended other local businesses to us while we were in town. I came back two other times for coffee. I highly recommend the Red Mountain. If I am ever in Montrose again, I will be stopping back as often as I can. Whenever possible, support local.

Denver native and first trip to Montrose/ Telluride with my fiancé. We were walking around Main Street and entered by complete happenstance - VERY glad we did! The staff at the front were friendly and helpful as ever. The drinks we ordered tasted great and gave you that “made with genuine love and care” you typically only get from an independently owned and community run establishment. When we come back we will definitely stop in for an angry Irishman!

Amazing atmosphere and ultra friendly staff. Rode the bikes down here in a beautiful spring day to hang out and sip some beer. Try the Should've Been a Blonde ale!
