Just passed through on our family road trip. Excellent lunch, friendly staff and home town atmosphere! I was also pleased they had many vegetarian options and we all finished every morsel of our pies. Delicious!

Really good food, get there early to have the special of the day. Great service as well. Can't go wrong here. Friendly customer service and quick service even when they are busy.

Best pies I've had in decades, the merang was perfectly made , They carry homemade shepherd pie & other great favorites, I will definitely be a returning customer.

We give this place a five star. A clean environment, outstanding service. Wait staff was very attentive. Food was great and served fresh and hot. Price was reasonable, coffee kept filled and hot. Thank you for a pleasent dining experience during this pandemic.

Great lunch with friends in the area. Home style meals with friendly staff. We ordered a peach pie to take to family, wasn't so impressed with it. Crust was great but hardly any peaches. Mostly filling. Was disappointed in dessert. Lunch was good.

We go for breakfast and it is always delicious. The homemade pies are the best! There is a lot of love that goes into their food. So many things made from scratch like homemade breads, casseroles, pies, down to the strawberry jelly for your toast.

Great place for lunch and desserts! The cheesecake was awesome! Friendly staff. We wouldn’t have stopped without a tip from friends. Very glad they told us about this place.

This place is a hidden gem with a home cooked meal offered daily (meatloaf or roast, mashed potatoes, etc) and then other sandwiches, burgers, salads, and pies for additional options. My personal favorite is the salad with chicken, pecans, apples, and raspberry vinaigrette. It is huge and excellent! The ambience is small, down-home, and wholesome with wooden tables and fresh pies and a local feel. Definitely stop here when passing through.

Of course everyone knows that Sunflower pies are some of the best in the valley. But until I happened on the building while in Monte, I didn't know they served lunch. So "needs must"... I had a black bean burger and expected that it would be a pre frozen mass-made bean patty. But NO! It was a homemade patty, very flavorful on a homemade bun. I chose a cucumber Tomato onion salad and it was delicious as well with the right mix of sweet vinegary crunchiness. And (irresistibly), I took home a strawberry rhubarb pie!
