The Sunflour Café

Their sausage was phenomenal!! It has amazing flavor. Their sweet tea is so good. I have tried their turkey and guacamole sandwich, the Ultimate breakfast, the Sunflour special, and their omelets. Every one of them were great. The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars is the cinnamon rolls displayed have a ton of frosting so they are so eye appealing. I ordered one to go and I was given one out of a different pan and it barely had frosting and it was dry. I was very disappointed.

Great little find! Had the quesadilla breakfast and it was perfect (homemade salsa made it).

There was surprising variety on the menu all of which was at a reasonable cost. While it wasn't the healthiest food of all time, it was very tasty. Given the options in Monte Vista I would rank this quite high on the list of places to visit if in the area.

We ate there this past summer on our way back to Texas and we were so glad we stopped!!! Delicious pancakes and breakfast sausage!

We drove here from camping in the Rio Grande National Forest and it was well worth the drive. Our server was really kind and the food was delicious. Huge portions! Nothing fancy. Just darn good food.

1 word can only describe my experience with this place, AWESOME!!!!!!. The food was amazing, well cooked, and neat. The waitresses were polite kind and well dressed. Fast service, best home cooked meal on the road I've ever had.

Delicious breakfast burrito and the most delicious cherry pie ever for dessert (went back for a second piece!). Took some maple rolls for later. Sweetest people, too. What a wonderful experience while traveling. Can't wait to go back.

This is a TOP choice Café. Note that it is not very expensive to eat here; if anything it is cheaper than other choices. The food is extraordinarily delicious, all Natural and healthy. Ever day of the week has it's own special that discounted. The portions are neither too big nor too small. If you have a sweet tooth, you can purchase a variety of fresh, made from scratch Pies. Service is commendable. Employees are among the gentlest, and most genuine of people. For breakfast,or for lunch, I urge you to go early. Enjoy.
