Great place to visit anytime I’m in town. The waitress Emily is one of the cheeriest and nicest people I’ve met here. Definitely will continue to stop by!

Excellent service. Excellent breakfast. Get the vegetarian green chile if you like it a little spicier. Home fries are a YES!

Great atmosphere, delicious food, fantastic staff! In a 5 day trip, we ate here 3 times because of the things I mentioned above. I will go back!

Such good food and such amazing vibes. Definitely a must visit. The staff is incredibly friendly plus it's fun to hear kitchen staff singing to jams in the back.

Best sit down breakfast in the city of Gunnison. Their veggie green chili is spicy and oh so good! The owners and staff are always friendly and a pleasure to chat with.

Sure to please! We love this little cafe. It has a unique and delicious menu with all the best Vermont flair. In addition to the delightful menu there’s also homemade bread, local hot sauces, a “retired frying pan hall of fame”, personal service and more. We always visit and we always leave happy.

I loved this breakfast place. We actually were going to the Twisted fork. We couldn't find a parking place. Which is a problem it is on their busy main street. We drove around it twice finally found a parking place. ALSO this was on a Sunday 10:30. So we knew it was going to be busy. We came across Backstreet Cafe first. Me being handicapped my husband walked in to see how long the wait would be. Starr said it would be 10 minutes. In the 10 minutes we waited I counted 10 more people after us. They got us in and all the other people within 15 minutes they were quick. The service was awesome the food was really good. The drinks even better.. We will be back. Check them out you will not be disappointed. .
