Our family had a great experience. The staff was friendly, the food came out quickly and was very good.

Food is amazing! I got the homemade biscuit and gravy. Sooo good! Our waitress was extremely nice, clean and fun atmosphere

Yes, you should go here and eat anything with the green chile on it.
We visited multiple times on our visit, and everything we had was great -- the San Juan Eggs Benedict are particularly outstanding (in fact, I am now craving them).
Service is worthy of special praise: in a college town in the summer, I expect quality to vary wildly (even over the course of a single meal); however, we were uniformly impressed throughout every visit. It is clearly evident that this is a family-run joint, and that the family is having a great time. They treat the remainder of the staff as extended family (the people-watching between the kitchen and serving staff is highly entertaining), and that vibe rubs off on the whole place. Big time kudos.

There was a short wait, but they seated us fairly quickly. The food was very good. Friendly staff. I would go back.

Great breakfasts. Staff is wonderful, exceptional, and friendly. Menu has many items to choose from.

Ordered the burrito, food is amazing and the service staff is great. A must stop for breakfast when in the area.

Back Country Cafe is absolutely a local favorite. I know the staff and at least a few patrons on any given day. The atmosphere is boisterous and full of joy. The pancakes, of any kind, are my go to. I have business meetings here, bring visitors, and gather the tables when all of my girlfriends can finally make breakfast happen. I cherish Back Country Cafe.

I have to say a big thank you to Delphine, our waitress who made us feel very welcome even though we were visiting from out of town. Very quaint and cute cafe with delicious breakfast.

GREAT SERVICE! We ate at the W (next door) the other day and they acted like they were inconvenienced by our visit. So today decided to go here instead and WOW it was like they actually wanted us here. 😆

Nice little stop on the way back from a ski trip. Service was pleasant and quick and the food was excellent. I had the san juan benedict.
