I ordered the Benedict and got scrambled eggs . Who makes Benedict with scrambled eggs? Potatoes had no seasoning and were burnt. There are so many good places in the county. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!

Clean and tidy but they have trouble when you order a half hot sandwich and soup off their daily special. The lady asks twice which one and I was served a full hot ham sandwich and soup. Make them repeat your order before you pay. It feels a bit cheap with paper plates plastic knives paper cup for soup, surely some China plates and a China soup bowl would lift the feeling this place cares for their customers. Food was good eating inside limited but good for us Sunday 30 April 2017 at 12 noon. Not a lot people in the Main Street but a lovely little town We are two Aussies on a 5 week road tour.

The Blue Water Bakery is a local favorite and hidden gem conveniently located just off of Grand Ave. They offer a wide variety of sweet and savory rolls, breads, and other pastries, but I consider their crowning jewel to be the warm breakfast options. The scrambles, benedicts, and “southwesterns” are all incredible, with the Grizzled, Gnarly, Old, Granby-Cowpoke Burrito being my personal favorite, and the country-fried potatoes served on the side are equally fitting to prepare you for both a fast-paced day on the slopes and a leisurely afternoon waiting for bites out on Grand or Shadow Mountain lakes.
The atmosphere is always friendly and inviting, including a convenient “reading nook”; there may be some lines actually out the door during the busiest days of summer but I wait in them every time because you won’t find a better breakfast in town and would be hard-pressed to find a better breakfast anywhere else in the state. Whether you are looking for a quick nibble or snack or need to fill up on something that will keep you energized during the activities that this town offers, your visit to Blue Water Bakery is sure to be the highlight of your day no matter what else the day might have in-store.

I arrived at opening. I ordered a cinnamon roll and coffee.
The cinnamon roll was over four dollars. It was not worth $1.5. It was like a daylight doughnut roll. A bit dry, doughnut like with little sauce.
The coffee was very good. The problem is they put your coffee cup in line with the other barrister orders. So you get to wait for the laities and mocas and what not instead of filling it and handing it to you.
The place had s big line. Other items I saw being served looked good.

Soggy bagel like bread, loud rap music at 7am, cinnamon rolls from city market. Do not eat here. Make the 45foot walk across the street to sagebrush. Our trip to Grand Lake was perfect up to this point. This place will gladly be forgotten.

Second time here. Both experiences were ok. The food is good, but a restaurant experience is so much more than that. The other reviews are true, the staff struggles understanding English & they are not friendly at all. Combine that with the expensive prices and I might not be back. Edit: P.s. why is there rap music playing at 9am with cuss words?! I am bumping off another star for that one.

The food was delicious and quickly made. We got a burrito, coffee, and stuffed French toast. All of it was very tasty. If we were in town longer we would definitely come back. Will recommend to our friends.

I got the veggie eggs benedict and my friend got the salmon eggs Benedict. The flavors were good but it wasn't "right". The eggs were just scrambled eggs, when eggs Benedict is supposed to be poached. Otherwise it should just be in the scrambled section. Also, I had bits of bacon in my veggie one. By the time I realized, i was mostly done already. The flavors were great and I was torn between 3-4 stars.

The sandwich was good, but if I'm going to pay $10 for a breakfast sandwich, I feel like I shouldn't have to wait a long time for it while the staff take selfies with their friends at the counter. I could tell the sandwich makers were working hard while the baristas were just goofing off, but that's not a good look when there's a long line of people paying high prices.

It’s alright. Nice selection, but the line to take orders took an hour to get through on a Saturday morning. The baked good were ok, the special sounded like it was going to be good, was supposed to have elk sausage and it just looked like a Jimmy Dean sausage and forgot ingredients. Disappointing...
