Blue Water Bakery

Bakery was very dry & tasted several days old. Ordered pumpkin scone & bagel. Asked staff about the above & was told bakery was made this morning. We ordered items at 9am. Would recommend another place.

The lady was very rude, disrespect and impatient. She was reluctant to do anything, and blamed us for all that she could. They didn't give us our pastery either and we basically had to nag them to get our pastery out of the showcase after waiting in the long line, again... There are plenty of bakeries and restaurants in town, do yourself a favor and avoid this one to make your vacation as fun as possible. Do not recommend.

First one star review I've ever left. The short version is: they screwed up the order, took forever, and couldn't resolve it. It's a total bummer because they have a pretty extensive breakfast menu for the area, but I highly recommend staying away from this place to save yourself some time and heartache. :(

We waited 20 minutes after ordering a quinoa bowl and a bagel. After watching a half dozen people cycle through who ordered after us, we asked after our order. Learned it would be another 10 minutes, so we asked for a refund and left. Eating Fritos in the car.

Awesome breakfast and coffee highly recommend

I visited this bakery on Sept 13, 2022. I was the only one at the counter, ready to order. There were 3 employees behind the counter, and each made eye contact with me. I waited as they each passed by me more than once. Finally, a gentleman with an accent looked as if he were coming to the counter…but one of the girls suddenly had pictures on her phone that she just HAD to show everyone—and he walked over to her. Lots of giggling and laughing. So unprofessional, and we will never return.

Wonderful place for breakfast. Their cinnamon rolls are large and excellent. Each plate had more food than I anticipated. The French toast had 6 piece of toast, each of which was quite large. They were generous with their bacon, sausage, and ham. It was just overall an excellent cafe in which to eat. I would love to return. Maybe I will get nothing but cinnamon rolls next time...

The coffee is great and the staff is absolutely hilarious. We had so much fun bantering and being entertained in hibachi style barista-ing… who knew that was a thing 🤣

Love this bakery right in the middle of town. The grilled cheeses (they have gluten free bread!) are really delicious and the barista let me make up my own drink. Also enjoyed a cinnamon roll. While they don't have seating inside right now, you can bundle up on a table outside or take it to go.

My husband and I enjoyed breakfast here very much! I had the classic eggs benedict and it was just amazing! Busy little shop!! We walked back towards the lake and enjoyed our breakfast looking over Grand Lake. It was such a perfect morning.
