Nice atmosphere. Lighting is a bit artificial. Coffee is excellent and the Chia tastes great and not very sugary.

Not great coffee. Office cafeteria vibe. Didn't feel like hanging out. Service was fine, but impersonal.

Stopped by twice and had two great cups of cold brew. Atmosphere is always hopping when I'm there but I've not stuck around as I like chairs with backs and most of the seating is stools. Still, probably the best on Main Street.

John has an incredible place here. The coffee is absolutely the best, the atmosphere is fantastic, and I know I will always be greeted with a smile when I come in. Not only do they give great recommendations, but the staff always impresses when I ask to be surprised.

Clean, bright, lots of space to sit. Good oatmilk latte. Friendly fast service.

Wonderful cold brew and an excellent selection of teas. Creative decor and a great spot to hang

The best coffee in GJ, by a mile. If you actually care what your coffee tastes like, no where else is even an option. The space is great for working, studying, and meetups as well. Always excellent customer service. I am a regular and so glad this place exists here. A little bit of culture in the valley is so refreshing.

It was so good - I sat and drank my first cup and then ordered a second for the road. Don’t pass this place up!
A friend and I were recently traveling through the area on our way to Moab. Much of our coffee experiences prior to and after Kiln would be classified as “church coffee” ...watery, but convenient, so you choke it down.
Kiln Coffee Bar was a wonderful surprise. Our drinks were well crafted and balanced in flavor. The staff was kind, engaging, and friendly. As an added bonus, Lulu Crepe was open (operates in Kiln several days per week) and provided a savory and beautiful crepe to compliment the coffee. Will definitely go back the next time I’m in the area!

You could go anywhere in the universe and you would not be able to find another mocha as chocolatey and amazing as Kiln’s. They have the best coffee drinks with a variety of flavors and options, and all of their baked goods are wonderful as well. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this coffee shop is a must stop for anyone in Grand Junction.

This is my go-to cafe when I’m in town. Kiln makes the best coffee in GJ, hands down. I love their lattes, kombucha, and the local pastries they provide. Great vibes, friendly staff, and tasty drinks. What’s not to like?😊
