Fat Cat Cafe is doing their best to provide quality food and service in a season when Covid and wildfire smoke keep shifting the rules. I enjoyed the traditional breakfast. Eggs fried just as I ordered them, very tasty bacon, and not bad wheat toast. The ladies working today were trying hard and seeking to flex with customer requests. Indoor and outdoor seating options were a plus.

I am going to assume the “non buffet” menu is better, but it isn’t offered on Saturday’s. This is a lazy manner to run a kitchen. The buffet was just bad, gross, and unappealing. Quiche was rubber. Sausage tough and over cooked. The only go to on the buffet was bacon, but let’s be honest, it’s hard to mess up bacon. The buffet selection was incredibly limited and the appearance of the food immediately turned me away. It was self service 100% of the way. Paper plates for the buffet. Styrofoam cups for all drinks. So much potential and so much disappointment. Oh, don’t forget, the buffet was $24 for one person. We should have gone somewhere else. Like, McDonald’s.

If you are going to be spending any time in Grand Lake, you will need to add this place to your to-do list! Super friendly atmosphere and the owner is wonderful. The food is set up buffet style and is chuck full of amazing home made items like pastries, scones, pies and one thing in particular that I hadn’t had in years... scotched eggs! I’ve barely scratched the surface of everything that was available. I will be back, most likely every time I’m in Grand Lake ;)

Homey and relaxed atmosphere. Delicious food, loved the Scotch eggs. Sunday brunch was around14.00. There were more desserts/baked goods than anything on the buffet. Did not try them but they looked good. Friendly owner, likes to chat. :)

The owner of this place sets it aside from any we're else. Besides the amazing food she holds a deep connection to the coustomer in true sense of small town living. In working in service on and off for two decades it is a thrill to see someone so passionate about what they do for a living. Visit this place you will not be disappointed.

A good place for breakfast! The buffet was nice!
They had tons of pies there, I had the cherry almond pie, it was super good.
Place could have been a little cleaner but overall it was very nice. The staff were super cool and nice.
I like the cabin aesthetic to it. I would at least recommend trying it once!

A very quaint breakfast place. Service was outstanding and one of the best breakfasts we have had in a while. I had the chicken fried steak, my wife had the juevos rancheros. Both were perfect. So tasty; eggs were perfect. This will be part of our routine every time we are in Granby!

Buffet with lots of unique and typical breakfast food! Something for everyone who likes breakfast and about 12 different pies. I agree with what someone else posted "it's like grandma's cooking" and the cat figurines add to that charm. The owners are very kind and seem genuinely friendly. Not a bad price for all you can eat too!

Best meal buffet on Sunday morning. Great value for the cost, on normal days portions are very generous. Really good chefs and recipes.

Wow all that down home baking!
Went for the Sunday brunch buffet. Had to wait 30mins for a shared table. It was well worth the wait. Some of the best cream pies I've tried in a few years (usually my wife won't let me order pie).

Keep on cooking! You guys are doing an awesome job.
