Hotel was a great experience . We ate at the bar area and Ashley was an awsome waitress/ bartender , wonderful service. She made our experience at the bar extremely nice and pleasant. Ashley has a bubbly ,energetic and fun attitude. In fact she Is a great asset to your hotel, we stayed in the penthouse and we will be returning again ! Thank you Ashley ! 😊

Casey was the best bartender and made amazing cocktails for me and my wife. I can’t wait to come back to this historic hotel which really makes an impression on Colorado and the community you’re in. Must visit if you have the chance, thank you Casey!

Staying at Gleenwood Colorado ix-s a journey in time...How they built hotels back then was marvelous..Every room was maintained with the goal in mind. I loved the concept and implementation. The staff is amazing. Breakfast is amazing..Lunch was exceptional in what I tried...The bridge and bars/restaurants close by kept me from getting a dinner experience....Would put HC on my list to stay again!!

We were looking forward to staying at this historic hotel even though parts of the hotel is beautiful, we didn’t get to experience thay during our stay.
We were placed in a handicap room during our weekend stay and even though the hotel is apparently going through some renovations, our room was not. The bathroom we had was not functional because every time my husband or I take a shower, the water will get all over the bathroom floor so it will be hard for the other person to use the bathroom afterwards. The shower curtains were old and had holes in them. The shower drain didn’t drain properly so water got to the toilet area. The bathroom was a mess and just not functional the way it is. The bed was not very comfortable and the windows had no curtains but the cheapest possible blinds so each morning, the sunlight will come shining through whether or not you’re ready to wake up.
We will absolutely not be staying here again if ever in Glenwood Springs.

Bartender Ashley was the highlight of our trip to Hotel Colorado, we made a point of visiting the bar every evening she was working because we so enjoyed our conversations with her and she always remembered us and what we were drinking! A special experience, thank you Ashley!

This place is amazing. Angel at the front desk provides the best customer service. The food is awesome! The bar is great, and the history will blow you away!

No fridge. No microwave. Old fashioned steam heat with no temperature indication. Several stairs between the car (with the luggage) and the entry door. (Kinda rough on old people.) Every hinge, wheel and moving part in the hotel squeaked, squealed or was loose, seeming to say "This is a cheap, rundown hotel that isn't worthy of maintenance." (This includes the one (sort of) working elevator, which didn't inspire confidence in it.) It seemed like no one there has ever heard of lubrication (or a screw driver). Driving to the hotel (and to downtown and back) involved a variety of u-turns and automotive death traps. Parking ANYWHERE in the town was nonexistent. And the hotel charged an additional $10 per day for parking. In lots that were either overfilled or inconveniently located. Oh, and everything was terribly overpriced. The bellman who helped us with our luggage was the one bright spot and is to be commended.

Mark, Thomas,& Margorie were extraordinary. Ordered room service one night and had the salmon dish and it was a complete disappointment 😞. Only the Syrah was worth drinking. The room could use some pictures too - to make it more inviting even a couple of plants would help. Lobby is classy. I over heard a dad say his daughter was married there and the wait staff was superb.
