The hotel is old and overpriced. We paid more than 400 for a junior suite that has a bathroom door whixh barely closes. The living room area is pretty bare. The main door of the room also old and has cracks. All noises in the hallwcame right in. The only great thing is we got discounted entrance to the hot spring included in the package and the jotspring is within walking distance.

History at its FINEST! We stayed in the Devereux Suite with the whole family. Make sure you bring your puppy (super pet friendly) and your bathing suit for the HOT SPRING! Pick up a seasonal teddy bear too 🐻

We had a great experience! Sydni Heimback was great to work with and made our experience very memorable. The peach cobbler at the restaurant was incredible. The room was spacious and wonderfully renovated! We could have stayed all week! We will stay longer next time!

Great location especially with the bridge to get to downtown!
Definitely older hotel but very well taken care of! Love the originally feel to it too!

My daughters and I recently stayed at this hotel for a girls extended weekend. We had nothing but an extremely positive experience, from beginning to end. The staff goes above and beyond. I had a flat tire while there, and Marjorie, John and Danny all went above their jobs to help me out. They made an otherwise stressful situation, super easy. For their service alone, I would recommend staying here. But everything else was also fantastic. So I recommend a stay here all around.

This is a very cool historical adventure and in the renovation process so they are doing a great job with updating but keeping the historical feel. The rooms to stay are very nice and you can have dogs. A must visit.

This is NOT a place we recommend. Rooms are archaic and out of date, bad air flow and smelly rooms, and you feel locked up in an old prison when you close the doors. There are stains on the beds and floors, and the showers look like someone urinated inside and left without draining. The staff was unpleasant, overwhelmed, and did not look happy. I would stay at the Marriott up the hill next time as we are fans of Glenwood Springs, but not this hotel.

To be clear, we didn't stay or book this hotel. Our experience at this place was very short, just from the short 15 min, I'm glad we are not staying here.

I lost my phone the day before we are leaving for this trip, so when we arrive at Glenwood, I was guessing where we were staying.

I figured I can just walk in and see if our reservation was here. Big mistake. When I got to the front desk, there was one receptionist helping someone that had lost some thing important, another guest was already waiting. Within a minute, three other receptionists showed up yet none of them had any intention of help us, they were together chatting. Soon two more guests showed up waiting behind me. I think four of us waited around 10-15 minutes before the lady in front of me got helped. I was wondering maybe this place is so old that they only have one working computer. Lol...

While I was waiting, my kids went to the lobby restroom, came back and complained how nasty the restroom is here.

Here comes the good part, when finally is my turn, the lady who was helping me ROLLED her eyes when she couldn't find my reservation and I asked if this place is partner with the hot springs. Lol...

    Expecting clean restrooms, NOT here.
    Expecting polite service, NOT here.
Expecting quick front desk, NOT here.

Unless you absolutely love to live in the past, I wouldn't recommend this place. The outside structure needs a lot of up keeping. Inside lobby was not impressive. It wasn't going to be easy just to unload and load luggages.

Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Colorado. 130 year old hotel, so it doesn't have the newest amenities but that's what makes it great. Sydni gave us a awesome tour. We stayed in the penthouse suite because of the wonderful history Sydni shared with us about the room and the hotel in general. Great asset to your hotel. If you love American old west history, I highly recommend Hotel Colorado!

A historic hotel with a wonderful interior design. You feel great here and by the way you are moving to the past. Great hotel, service and location.
